Description of Work: I asked for a Estimate on a courtyard I wanted to have built. They came out promptly and professionally performed all the measurements. I was told I would have an estimate in a week. I called after 2 weeks for the estimate and was told that I would have it by the end of the week. That was a month ago.

Description of Work: Removed broken fence post, gate latch. Removed old concrete set broken fence post. Built new and quite proper new fence post with gate latch. Set new post in concrete. This was done in a very professional manner by workers that knew exactly what and how to do the job. The bid was made on Feb. 8 and the work was done and completed within 2 hours on Feb 10. I was very pleased with the work done and the company's timely response. I would definitely use Richter Fence for additional work, when needed.

 + -1 moreI called Mr. Richter and left a message to get a quote on our fence. He returned the call, left a message on my voicemail so I called back...he answered the phone and said that he would call me right back and never did. I guess he doesn't need the business - it has now been 2.5 weeks.

Description of Work: Install chain link fence around rental house on farm property that I purchased to separate house from almond orchard. Quality of work is excellent but punctuality is lacking. Subsequent to the chain link installation I requested and received a bid for installation of barbed wire and field fencing. I signed the bid and returned it and called repeadedly but never received a reliable response. I had already purchased all the materials, wooden posts, metal posts, and fence wire. Never heard from him again. Also, had lots of difficulty gettin a lien release from Richter for the chain link job and eventually sent the payment check made out to him and the supplier so the supplier of materials to Richter had to sign the check also. Lots of hassle!

Description of Work: I had a hard time getting him to return my calls to set up an appointment and when we made the first appointment he called me 2 hours late to tell me he had left his cell phone on a job and had to go back an retrieve it. We made a 2nd appointment which he nevered showed and never called to apoligize or reschedule.

 + -1 moreMr Richter showed up on time for our estimate and was very pleasant. The estimate was written on a professional form and was very legible. His estimate was for $1150. A good price but we really wanted Redwood for durability and he stated that it would be a lot more expensive. So we went with a different contractor. So I cannot speak to the quality of his work.
Description of Work: An estimate for tear out and replacement of a 54ft back fence with a Cedar, 6.6ft high, 10 ft gate
