CLEANING AUTHORITY

I have been using housekeeping services for a number of years but this company does not get the house clean. The first couple of cleanings were really good, but then the quality started to slip. I called the office to provide some feedback. I have alot of glass and mirrors in my house. I would come home from work and the mirrors would have streaks in them. Clearly visible streaks. Which indicated to me that the worker did not clean them and the team leader did not walk the house before leaving. For an additional cost, I asked that the interior of my china cabinet be cleaned. They said to empty the cabinet. I did. Again the cabinet has glass shelves and a mirror back. The entire interior looked the same as when I left for work that morning. I called and they said that they would be back to reclean it. It still did not look cleaned to me the next day, but my son (who was home that day) said that they did come back. I ended up cleaning it myself. The master bathroom cabinet had toothpaste on it, it stayed there until I cleaned it myself which was over four weeks. That tells me they were not wiping down the cabinets. They also do not pick up items and dust under them. I would not recommend them to anyone. 10.1.2012 - The company has gone out of business...

They do general house cleaning for me. They just came under new management. The girls that have been coming to clean my house have been excellent.

The house cleaners were about an hour late - I called when they were half an hour late to see if something had changed, but they were just running late. One person did the kitchen and bathrooms and the other did the rest of the house as far as I could tell. The detailied cleaning of the kitchen was not very good. It appeared that nothing was moved on the counters (papers, etc.) to clean underneath. The mixer and coffee maker were not wiped off - still dusty. There was a window ledge near the sink that was not wiped off at all - visible dirt. The sliding glass door was only cleaned on one side - still looked dirty. There is a small round wooden table in the kitchen that was not dusted.The main bathroom didn't have the mirror cleaned. I don't think either bathroom floor was wet mopped. The cleaner used a wet rag to clean the shower glass & it was badly smeared (why no cleaner?) The person doing the vacuuming did not move all of the dining room chairs to vacuum (very light weight.) One of the times I saw her, she was talking on her cell phone as she cleaned. The dusting in the living room was hit and miss. Although some things were oiled, an end table badly in need of it was not. Parts of the dining room table were oiled, but in places, the oiling just stopped. The final insult was the laundry room, which is the entrance most people use to get into our home. The linoleum floor was filthy when they came & filthy when they left. It's a small room & wouldn't take long to wet mop. I've been using housecleaners for 30 plus years, but had stopped when I retired, then decided to start again. There has never been another cleaning service that did such a poor job in my home. Most are really good. This was a big disappointment and I shall not use them again.
