Clean Gutters Inc

The cleaner was an older gentleman who bragged that he had been doing this foe decades and that he cleaned gutters differently. Mainly that he did not believe in using water at all! The cleaning job was marginal, considering the cost of $150 for about a half-hour to 40 minutes work. Large material was cleaned but fine dirt and particles were left because gutters were not flushed out. Total gutter area was less than 100 linear feet.

After arrival employee declined job on basis of safety because of height of gutters and steep roof. The person who gave the estimate and made the appointment did not stipulate a height requirement. I am actually glad that the employee didn't take what he felt was undue risk, but the cancellation and lost time was quite inconvenient.

Good work completed as desired. The service was scheduled with a possible earlier date and they made it on the earlier date. However, price was an issue. I was asked a long list of questions about the work and given a price range on the phone when I set up the work. I was later called back and told the price would be the top end of the range based on experience with my home over 10 years ago. I agreed. After the work started, the worked stopped and the workman informed me that yet another price increase was appropriate?at 33% higher than the quote that was revised over the phone. He also offered to stop the work so that I could get other bids. We negotiated a price and the work was done. Not really happy about the price change, but it was my decision to accept it. Not only should they have quoted better from the LONG list of questions on the phone, they should have brought up the price issue BEFORE work started (and they could clearly see the full extent of the job). Will probably look for a different provider next time, but would come back if I don't find someone else with a good reputation.

They clean a large 2 story house. It's a rental, I call clean gutters and they clean gutters with no hassle.

Took less than an hour to do the work. Gentleman doing the work was very nice, knew his job. looks good from my angle. Guaranteed work. Now must wait for rain

I was surprised and disappointed. He seemed to be in a hurry because he said the gutters were not that dirty. There was no leaf buildup, perhaps just some dirt sedimant in the gutters. He advised against flushing the gutters with water to clean out that dirt. Also, he had a jug of water where he put a little water into each downspout and since the little bit of water came out, his judgement was that they were not clogged. After he left, I had my son flush one downspout with a hose and yes there was a lot of gunk in there although not enough to totally clog it. Now I have more follow -up work to do. I need to have the new leaf guards installed because they do a good job especially in the tree lined street I live on. I was aware from the start that the workman would not reinstall the guards I will also have my son flush the gutters and the other downspout with water first. I have talked to numerous do it yourself men and they disagree with everything I was advised by the workman that came out. I try to weigh all sides because supposedly the Clean Gutters representative is an expert.

Colleen very pleasant person to deal with, she will ask you several questions, then give you a quote, +/= $25.00. I had this work done over a weekend since it's hard for me to be away from work during the work week. I was surprised that he finished within an hour, since I do have a lot of gutters on the 2nd story. Great job, I experienced no problems with my gutters clogging up during our first rain.

When I called I was asked detail questions in regards to the gutters on the home & what I was looking to have done. With my answers I was given an estimate for price as low as $175 and as high as $220. Not much off the estimates I've gotten from other companies. Made an appointment for 2days later. The cleaner came out, introduced himself and went straight to work. He was on my roof for about 2hrs. I enjoyed the fact he didn't use a high power water sprayer. He swept my gutters out. I haven't had that done to the house in a little more than 3yrs. You can imagine the dirt that he collected. None the less, he had a great personality & even took the dirt crap w/him.

They are very good at their work, and helpful at setting up appointments. They might price a bit high compared to general workers, but they are worth it.

.We hadn't cleaned our gutters for about 6 years. We have lots of trees on our property and, although we have gutter guards, small debris and dirt still accumulates. Dave arrived on time. Although I had just contracted for gutter cleaning, he offered to blow our roofs. He and his helper went to work immediately and didn't stop until the job was done....almost three hours later. Dave did advise me that the original quote would have to be modified due to the amount of debris in the gutters. It was a fair price modification. I especially like that they don't use hoses and flood our property with water. They placed debris in tarps, which they hauled away. They blew everything down...it was spotless when they left. I would definitely recommend their service and we plan to use them in the future.

I went very well. The job was completed to perfection. I had to get back up on the roof myself about two weeks after the service and the gutters were void of debris and clean.

I called and left a message the Friday before Easter. The call was returned to me the following Monday. It was a great experience to talk to the nice lady on the phone. She asked me a few questions and gave me a rough estimate. It was a bit more than another company, but I booked it because I was comfortable with her customer service and the amount of time the company has been doing this. When the gentleman showed up to do the gutters I meet with him. We talked for a few moments and he proceeded to start the job. I watched from a distance at several different areas that he was working from. When all was said and done it was a bit more, BUT even I thought that it was going to be more as I saw what he had to do. Wow, puts it very mild. We talked at the end and said that he would have to charge me for the higher part of the phone range. He indicated that it was actually more. I being involved with my family business completely understand balancing out customers and satisfaction. The truth is I was more than satisfied and wrote the check for the amount that it really was. It was only $25 more then the high end of the verbal estimate. The gentleman, told me about getting onto a yearly plan and stated that the price would be such and such. He said that the office would mail out a post card next year and I was price locked. He also stated that next year, he may see that we can go every two years. I am very happy with his honesty so far and will tell everyone that I know about this company and the satisfaction that I received. I will be using them myself on my home next year also. My roof and gutters are new so it wasn't necessary to do mine so soon.

We were not there for when they did the work, but they did query thing they said they would.

Dave is a licensed professional in the trade of gutter cleaning for 15 years. Don't accept unlicensed work! I was lucky to get same day service for my 2-story house! Friendly, honest and does an outstanding job. He even offered to come back and unclog any gutter until Labor day... For No Extra Charge!! It's nice to see an honest American, taking pride in his work. Thank you Dave! Just in time for the storm... (My drywall and window frames thank you too.)

Coleen who answers the phone is cheerful, informative and pleasant. Dave Duke arrived on time on the appointment date and handed me his card. He began working right away. I had to leave for an appointment but my son came to the house an hour or so later. At that time I spoke to Dave by telephone. He advised me that the price would be higher than the $350 quoted over the phone. I was not surprised as the square footage of the house is not the same as the square footage of the roof. We have a breezeway and a covered porch on the back of the house which add to the roof's square footage. In my conversation with 'Coleen' when making the appointment the possibility of a higher price was discussed. Dave worked dilligently and completed the work in about 1/2 the time it takes me. The roof was not damaged. It was clean. The gutters were clean. All of the debris on the ground was removed. I was completely satisfied!

Work started on time and was completed same day. Very happy with the total experience.

I called Clean Gutters Inc and talked with Colleen. She was very pleasant on the phone. She asked me some questions, such as the square footage of our house (3,400 sq ft), number of stories (two-story), type of roof (concrete tiles), and whether or not any gutters were higher than 21 feet off the ground (our second story gutters were 20 feet). From this information, she was able to give me an approximate estimate of $350, give or take $50. She said that if I was comfortable with that price range ($300 - $400) then she would put me on the schedule, and Dave would give me the exact cost when he arrived to do the job. The estimate I got from another company was $600. So, even at $400, Clean Gutters Inc was a third less than the other company. I asked Colleen to put me on the schedule. Dave arrived on time on the scheduled day. He was friendly, professional, and ready to start work. The quality of his work was excellent, and he completed the job in a few hours. Dave's technique is safe and efficient. He does not use water to clean the gutters, because he says it just makes a big mess. He gets on the roof and cleans the gutters by hand using a variety of tools, at least one of which he developed and manufactured himself. It looks like a large pair of tongs with scrapers on the ends. He uses it to remove debris from the gutters and to scrape the inside of the gutters. He gathers all the debris in tarps that he carries with him on the roof. Very little dirt ends up on the ground, and he uses a blower to clean that up. I was very happy to find Clean Gutters Inc, and I will definitely hire Dave again next time I need my gutters cleaned.
