I highly recommend Sparky Electric. They did a great job working with Smud and installing a new 20 amp panel to my older home. My home remodel also included adding new outlets through out and upgrading the exsisting ones. New lighting and fixtures were also installed. They were professional, always on time and a pleasure to work with.

As I was looking to hire a top notch and reputable Electric Contractor I had 4 different Companies with different quotes. However, Sparky Electric & Solar was the lowest bid or the the highest bid, but after talking and a home visit Cristian understood my large project. His professionalism and expertise was a huge help to me because I never have had a large project around at my home. I was provided continuous email and text up dates from them that made the project moves very smoothly with all my other contractors and Utility Companies involved in my home project. The onsite certified Electrician were friendly and professional during the entire project to finished. The project was able to pass inspection each time the City came out to inspect. I highly recommend them to anyone doing a small or large project.

Both my washer and dryer stopped working - no power. Within 10 minutes of posting, Sparky Electric responded. He came out about 3 hours later. He took a look around and found the problem. Both devices had been plugged into a power strip which had tripped. Not a big deal, except we were unable to move either the washer or dryer out of the way. He was able to climb up on the dryer, and using a grabber he was able to reach the power strip. He reset it, and then mounted it on the wall so if it happened again I could reset it myself. This wasn’t a difficult job, but the service mindset was exceptional. Excellent experience! Thank you!

I called Sparky Electric because I was getiing shocked by two kitchen appliances. Cristian said this was an emergeny and came over in two hours. A switch under the kitchen sink was shorting and made the appliances pluged in to become HOT. He repaired everything that was wrong. I believe he probably saved my life as I was that close to being electrocuted. Afterwards, he reviewed our complete setup on our older house. Our electrical panel was way outdated and we had no gfi outlets were water is. We replaced it all and the price was more than fair based on other estimates. Cristion and his brother were Pros and and got us up to code. Wife feels safe now. SMUD did all inspections and approved of everything. If I could ge them a 10 I would.

Sparky Electric and their team are nothing shy of amazing! My wife and I recently bought an older home and ran into some pesky electrical issues. When I installed a new light fixture, a few outlets lost power. Since I am not a trained electrician, I knew I was in for it. After some investigation, I realized the lights and outlets for the entire 1300 sq ft house were set up on only 2 circuits, so whatever I did, caused an issue down the line that I wouldn't be able to figure out with my minimal knowledge. Luckly, my wife jumped onto the Thumbtack app and found Sparky Electric, who came out immediately. Francisco, the electrician who showed up, was friendly, professional and eager to help. After assessing the situation and spending time investigating and tracing the issue, he proposed a succinct plan to address our electrical woes. On the spot, he scheduled a follow up visit, where he and another exceptional colleague, Alex, would come out and execute said plan. Not only did Francisco and Alex work diligently and without pause, they stayed late and even helped solve a few unexpected issues that arose along the way. Without Sparky, I would still be up a creek without a paddle. I am forever grateful for the help and competitive pricing Sparky provided us. I would highly recommend the Sparky team and have already passed their contact info onto several General Contractors I know in the area. If you have any electrical needs, no matter how big or small, Sparky are your guys!

Members of this crew did the electrical portion of my solar install, and the later installation of a manual transfer switch. I designed both jobs, and am extremely particular about results (I fired the original solar electricians I had before hiring Cristian's crew). On both of our jobs Cristian gave me very reasonably priced, detailed quotes, quickly. The crews have been hardworking, respectful, careful, showed up on time, consulted with me at all critical points, addressed any install issues promptly, and were committed to giving me the quality results I was looking for. Both my installs look great. These guys care about the quality of their work, and customer satisfaction. Highly recommended.

I had a problem with my smoke detectors. Francisco was here within 2 hours of the time I contacted them. He was respectful of property. He was polite and knowledgeable. He would not give up until the problem was solved. He did not rush the project and he did everything through the process of elimination until it was fixed. He was friendly and professional.
