Oscar had done work for us in the past. We were very pleased with what he had done in the past. When we hired another contractor for this job, we realized we made a big mistake. The unlicensed contractor did not get a USA ticket before he started work. He cut out the Comcast wires and Comcast started an investigation. The unlicensed contractor walked away from the job. When I contacted Oscar, he came over the same day. He provided a comprehensive contract and started the next day. The thing I appreciate the most is that he only does one job at a time. They showed up every day at 7 am to begin work. As soon as the framing was removed from the previous contractor, he noticed that they had not put the drainage pipes so they would drain. The next thing they did was to lay the pipes flat so the water would drain. They started with footing and added blocks before they put the fencing on top. The took out the 8-foot fence and added a gate as well as cement leading up to the gate from the turf. The job was completed in four days and is beautiful. It has added a lot of value to my home. I highly recommend Oscar. He listened to what I wanted and gave me recommendations to consider. He checks in often to make sure that everything is being done according to my wishes. He walked the job with me when he was finished. He and his workers take pride in their work, and they left the job much better than the unlicensed contractor left the site. Oscar will definitely stay at the top of my list any time I need work done around my house.

Wonderful Experience. Very professional, Oscar listened to what we envisioned the on the property. And offered us very helpful advice. The workmanship is excellent. The crews were always there on time. The job was very well coordinated. Good attention to detail regarding measurements resulting in an aesthetically pleasing job. We had an extensive brick block retaining wall and a fence built on our property. The crew did the tear down and hauled away old wood and cleared out old foliage. Oscar and his crew did a great job. Were always on time. Listened to what I wanted. Readily made adjustments I asked for and provided helpful suggestions. Stayed on schedule and kept their work area neat and clean.The expanded drive and parking area looks great.He even shared some incredible tamales with my staff. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing service at an unbeatable price.

We selected Double OO for our project after speaking with four other contractors. We wanted to replace and expand a driveway that was original to the house and add a small knee wall. None of the other contractors offered reasonable solutions. Oscar and Mike came in, listened and went the extra mile to get our project completedâ on time and within the quoted budget. Oscar even found a tree contractor who removed a nasty Palm before work began. Everyone on his crew and subcontractors were fast, efficient and great to work with. We plan on having them back for â phase 2â of our front yard project.

Removed old redwood retaining wall and fence. Replaced with block wall and new fence on top. Work was done in a timely manner. I was also happy that the crew worked well with a neighbor to insure we were both happy with the result. Thank you OO!

Installed stamped concrete driveway, concrete retaining wall, and steel-framed redwood fence/gate for RV access on the side of my home. Oscar suggested several improvements over my original concept that improved function, durability, and appearance. The crew was always on time, considerate to me and my neighbors, hard-working, and cleaned up well. Double OO works on only one major project at a time so the project was completed quickly despite some rain delays. Good quality at a fair cost.

Oscar clearly has a lot of experience, as does his crew. He both understood what we wanted, made suggestions, but also listened when we had other ideas. He gave us a contract with all the specifics, kept in contact with us, was punctual on work days, and his workers did a thorough clean up after the project was finished. Oscar personally monitored all aspects of the work and turned out a beautiful product.

Oscar checked all my boxes: - Quick follow-up, check - Showed up on time at first meeting, check - Wrote a contract and stuck to it, check - Easily contact able by text message (and responds), phone, email, check. - Approachable, easy to talk with, check - Highly experienced, knowledgeable about his craft, check All the things you'd expect as a given, right? But here is my personal testimony: Oscar is a go-getter. He has hustle. He wants to 'get-r-done. Oscar has charisma. He's just a friendly guy. Instead of stressing you out with problems, he's always communicating "there's this problem, but I got this, seen it before, no big." Oscar's words match up with his actions. He says stuff like (my paraphrasing here): "I'm not into nickel and dimimg and gouging people for all I can get. I don't do that %$#@." And he didn't. Oscar provides value. There's so many extra little things he did, that just made my life easier. He remounted my driveway gate in sturdier supports and adjusted the rollers. He showed me how to stain and seal (easy to do and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars). He poured some extra square footage where it made sense, and didn't gouge me. He and his men helped move all the crap off my driveway in prep for demolition. What I've observed? Oscar has been busting his ass his whole life. Things that knock most people down in life, he just turned into opportunities. He celebrated job completion with a %$#@-load of home-cooked tamales! He gave me and my wife a signed oscar-the-grouch $2 dollar bill on our first meeting (how cute!). He has contacts in all areas of construction industry. He knows how to run a crew. I was so pleased with my driveway experience, I pitched him on my home addition/remodel (in-progress now). Oscar is a diamond in the rough. I wish I would have found him a long time ago.

Oscar and his team were great! Our patio, chicken coop pad, and driveway look great. We will be using their services for more home improvement projects in the near future for our kitchen.

The most important thing I appreciated about Oscar was his professionalism and punctuality via phone or in person. Very knowledgeable and friendly. If we had any concerns he would address them immediately. 2200 square feet!

We had a driveway widened and replaced along with sidewalks. There was a pipe that needed replacing that went under one of the sidewalks. Oscar said that he would replace it along with replacing a post for a gate that would be getting a new walkway. He took the gate off the old rotten post and replaced the post with a taller one for the new height. Both projects he offered to do (no charge)that solved 2 problems for us instantly! We trusted him to do what he said he would do and he definitely earned our trust!! He watches his employees all day and makes sure that the project is done right! I would text him and he would respond quickly ditto with calling him! He does fences also! Probably our next project and I already know who to call so it's done right. It's a no brainier. Thanks to Double OO it was a stress free project!

Started with project to install 175’ circular driveway. Oscar arrived as scheduled and was here everyday with enough employees to get job completed on time. Cleaned job site daily. Very professional and even had employees cleaning up the rest of property. Added construction of a large shop with 80’ driveway and 350’ iron fence. Oscar came up with design to include rock pillars and lighting. Total project was about 3 months. Oscar showed up 5-6 days a week to supervise his employees and ensured we were happy with work every step of the way. He even brought home made tamales for our family and neighbors on “cement pouring days”. Oscar is very knowledgeable contractor. We will be bringing him back when we have building permits for an additional garage and driveway. I have no doubt that project will be completed with the same professional standards as our 3 projects he has completed. Many contractors get contract signed and start project by showing up randomly and leaving all the work to partially trained employees. Oscar’s work ethic and pride in his work shows by showing up every day until job is completed. Thank you for the great job and beautiful fence & driveways. We have received multiple comments on how great the fence and driveway look.

Young men that he brought as a crew to break up my driveway clean and remove all the debris and lay a new driveway for me were exceptional in their ability to get the job done without delay or Shortcuts and they knew what they were doing all along. The end result was much more than I expected at the beginning. I was totally amazed at how polite and efficient his crew was and how friendly and knowledgeable Oscar was. I would highly recommend them for that any job.

Oscar and his team were awesome and start/completion of job was as planned. He gave me suggestions I didn't thing about plus the cement works and fencing with 2 gates with iron post were top notch. All the neighbors are commenting on the great job that was done.. I would highly recommend Double OO Construction for any cement work and fencing.

Great guys that did a great job at a fair price. They only work on one job at a time which is great because you know they will not be bouncing between projects and making you wait unexpectedly.

I hired Oscar after I received bids from 5 other companies. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive (I had a little over 3,000 sq ft of concrete poured). He was the only one who ask me questions, such as what are my plans for future use in other areas of my property (I have 1/2 acre). He gave me suggestions and was at the job site every day. I was home every day and spoke with him daily regarding any concerns I had and about some changes I wanted to make. I am a visual person and after seeing the forms laid out I realized I wanted a bigger patio area. Also I'm getting older he suggested removing all the steps except one going into the house. What a difference that made. Definitely will recommend him for your projects. I'd add pictures if I could - it looks so great.
