Description of Work: I had a diagnosis of plumbing problems by Cesar who was very gentlemanly. I called Superior when my two new sets of faucets arrived, and asked to be scheduled with Cesar to put them in. The woman on the phone asked if I would like to be scheduled at 12 pm to 2 pm ( it was 11 am at this time). I said sure, and Superior arrived at 1:30 only it was Alfonso J. according to his business card, and Adrian by introduction. They put the kitchen set in and went on to the bathroom. Adrian took all the tools and old parts out to the truck and Alfonso said it was going to cost more because the water was not going down in the bathroom and he would have to snake it. I reached over and pulled the knob up on the faucet to see if that would help, and he seemed to be startled by this. I noticed that the drain was circled in silver with a silver plunger and asked him if that was right. He said no, his partner must have taken some of my new parts out by mistake. His partner came back in and installed the correct brass colored drain and circle. I told them we would snake it ourselves if any problem continued. Alfonso had been scrubbing the sink with an SOS pad, so the water was blue. I don't think he scratched the finish, however. My husband paid the invoice with a check for $550. Then I asked Alfonso to check the water pressure coming in to the house, because Cesar had said it was 85, and it should be between 60 to 80. The gauge still read 85 and did not move no matter how Alfonso moved the screw he was working on so we gave up. I think they did a pretty good job on the installation, I guess time will tell. And they kept everything from being damaged as they worked. I have mixed feelings about it but they did put in a lot of effort. They were professional, but kept referring to me as "my dear". They may have been trying to be respectful by this but seemed a little odd.

Description of Work: There were a total of four visits to our house to fix a leaking bath tub faucet. The first and second visits made the problem worse (went from a fast drip to constant streaming water). We were charged $29 for the first "diagnostic" visit where no work was done, and $150 for the second where the problem was made worse. After a phone call to a manager at Superior Plumbing, they made two additional visits, fixed the problem, and did not charge for the additional visits. They are good people with integrity.

Description of Work: Replaced bathtub faucet controls. The faucet was leaking, and they had to go into the wall and replace plumbing with copper. The job took most of the day. Jose had good ideas for how to do this without ruining the 50s tilework, and bring the fixture up to code. Left the area in very good shape.

Description of Work: Found a larger issue and diagnosed it. Provided immediate fixes and estimate for long term fix. Considerate and professional. When first fix did not work they returned and worked thru issue.

Description of Work: They came, and refused to give us an estimate. They told us to go to our insurance. It was confusing. We have not heard from them since. I called someone, they came, fixed it and got paid--no drama.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the overall service of Superior Plumbing. We had hired a handyman to fix a 'running' toilet in our upstairs bathroom. He ended up causing more damage than the original plumbing problem. He admitted defeat and casually said we need to have a plumber come fix our toilet. This was Wednesday afternoon. I called Superior and made an appt for them to come out that Friday. Thursday morning we awoke to water dripping from our light fixture in the kitchen directly below the broken toilet! I called Superior and they were very helpful. They were not able to send someone until Thursday evening, but offered to have a supervisor come out and help us turn off the main water to our home. Someone called twice during the day to update us on approximate time of arrival of the technician. Omar arrived and was very friendly and understanding of our situation. He fixed our toilet with ease and professionalism. I will definitely be recommending Superior in the future!

Description of Work: We had a great experience with Superior Plumbing. Omar was professional, straight-forward and friendly. Our upstairs shower was leaking through the floor downstairs, and when he opened up the downstairs ceiling, saw the problem immediately. He replaced the needed parts and made sure to test the work well before he left. We had fears that the plumbing service we would need would cost a lot more than it did... we were fine with the final price. Hiring a plumber can be a scary experience, but I'm glad we have a go-to plumber for future jobs! Oh, and the only reason he received a B for punctuality is because he was running late from a previous job--but he did call to give us a heads-up. :-)
