Vince at Superior was great and very customer focused and professional. We just bought this house and did not know where all the drain lines went to and a few were plugged as well. Vince helped me to video many of the lines, and from there he could determine what had to happen. During the repair, he also found a very large tree root inside one of the plugged pipes, and he was good enough to call me before taking any action as he did not want to damage my tree. I called our arborist, emailed him a picture, and he then told us we could go ahead with the repair. So Vince was super! Also appreciated their customer service who would call to confirm the schedule and such. Definitely recommend Superior.

It turned out okay initially but the problem came back after a couple of months so I am trying to figure out what to do about that right now. We ended up paying more and their fix didn’t really last. They tried to take the faucet apart and it took them quite a while. They didn’t really seem to know what they were doing at first but they finally got it working at normal pressure that it had been for the last several years since we installed the faucet. However, now after a couple of months, we are having trouble again with the amount of water coming out of the faucet. All they did was take it out, clean it and put it back together. They were pretty responsive and came out pretty quickly. It seemed like they didn’t really understand my problem so it took them quite a while to figure it out and then they finally did come up with a solution. It cost more than it thought it would and then it ended up being a temporary solution. I think I am just going to try and find somebody else to solve the problem.

They had a video made of my drain system by them and I was informed that it was infested with roots and various items that needed to be cleaned out. They took another video and I saw that video for myself and I didn't see any roots in my system. So I'm not sure if their work was that good. They gave me a proposal on some additional plumbing work on the house and they obviously did a review of the plumbing and sewer system out on the street that was required by the city.

The price was a little high because I felt like I wasn't really getting a discount.

We had used liquid drain cleaner, commercial powder drain cleaner, and a snake on the kitchen and laundry room drains. To no avail. The clog was not going away. I had used Superior Plumbing about 5 years ago and they were fabulous, so I went on Angie's list and found them again. They had a coupon for 41% off the service call. Great! I called in the morning and shortly after 10 am the same day, Darwin was there and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. The service call and the repair/cleansing only cost $179.00. The contractor found that the sprinkler valve was open a little bit, so he closed it. He checked the toilet and the basement, too and didn't find any leaks. My husband worked with him and my husband said that the plumber did a very thorough job. The tech was very pleasant to deal with.

The servicemen were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Vince went out of his way to explain everything to me. They took care of the shower valve on the the spot. Fixing the faucets required ordering parts from Moen which they also took care of on the spot, even taking pictures of the faucets and parts and sending them to Moen to make sure the correct parts were ordered. I was very pleased when Vince explained to me that the parts would be free since Moen guarantees their fixtures for life, and I was delighted that Moen actually had the parts for fixtures that are more than 20 years old. Once the parts arrived, Superior Plumbing came back out to install them and again were very thorough and professional, making sure that I was satisfied with everything before they left. Vince also suggested I call Moen to get replacement aerators for the faucets, since he said the ones I have are shot. I never would have known to do that without his telling me. And he told me that he had taken care of registering my fixtures with Moen when he ordered the parts for the faucets, so they would know exactly what aerators to send. The only negative is punctuality. Superior Plumbing gave me a two hour window for the first service call and they were at least 20 minutes late, although the office did call to let me know that they were delayed so that was OK. For the second service call, I also was given a two hour window; the office called to let me know the servicemen would be at least 30 minutes late, but they'd keep me informed. An hour past the end of the two hour window, Vince hadn't arrived and I hadn't received any updates, so I called Superior Plumbing. They were very apologetic, but they weren't going to be able to get to me within the next hour even which would have been two hours late. Since I had other things to do that day, I rescheduled for the following day, with a one hour window as a concession, and the servicemen were actually early then. And Vince did give me a 10% discount for my time spent waiting and having to reschedule.

Oscar and Oscar Junior were awesome! They arrived promptly, fixed everything including some additional items that needed some help! Very professional, courteous and friendly. I would use these two again in a second! If you have old pipes, and most of us living in the East Bay do, hire these guys! They will do a knock out job!

When I ran my washing machine one morning, the toilet and shower overflowed. I called Superior Plumbing who said they could come out early that afternoon. About 12:45 I got a call that the technician was running late. Jose arrived about 1:15. He had me run water in the shower so he could pinpoint the leak which turned out to be under the house before the main drain. He cleared the stoppage and charged me $150. I had already bought a deal for $29 for the service call. Jose was pleasant and explained everything as he went along.

I had a big deal purchase. It was kind of okay. Not very great. They were professional and they were nice to talk to and so on. If you are really giving a quote you should be given a written down quote. Apart from that it doesn't create too much confidence. You just give a verbal quote and go off. That's one thing I didn't like.

The service was prompt and the leak was not a problem after it was fixed. We felt the price was high given the job.

I received a call about 1 hour prior to the scheduled time, advising me that my technician was en route. He arrived 10 minutes early. He easily replaced the faucet (which was jammed on the pipe: I didn't want to try fixing it myself for fear of a broken pipe). It only took him about 15 minutes, start to finish. Hector was courteous and professional. Good job!

Everything was perfectly fine, our main line had clogged and they came out when promised and cleared the clog.

The job was done on a rental property. I was not available to oversee the work, however the tenant was happy with their prompt response. The did an excellebt job.

We had a clog that drano couldn't handle. We called our home warranty and they had some other service provider on the call, but they did not call us to schedule an appointment so I called Superior on my own and since they had an opening the same day, I called our home warranty to switch the provider to Superior. They came the same day and cleared the clog, the clog returned a few days later so they had to come back, but removing the clog was covered under their 30 day promise. In order to get to the clog they had to install a clean out in the back of our house. It took a couple hours more, and then we had clean running drains. The guys are very fast workers, professional, and the people on the phone are very responsive especially if you have an emergency. They will probably continue to be my go to plumbers. I've had other interactions with them on other emergency services and they did well then too.

Everything went great. Vincent and his helper arrived punctually, performed everything they said they would, and did several things more without any additional cost. They also cleaned up completely after they were done. Very professional, very courteous!

The company was very responsive and came out to the house just a couple of hours after my call. However, it took an hour for them to diagnose the problem which they stated couldn't be fixed until the next day. Instead, they made a temporary fix and claimed that would stop the leaking until they returned. Unfortunately, the fix didn't take, and the toilet started to leak worse than ever which was a hassle because I had to have them return once again. They also left some dirt at the house which they didn't clean up entirely. Ultimately, the leak was repaired, but I probably won't use them again due to the hassles that I experienced.

It went okay. He came out, looked around for a while, and said that it was a clogged toilet. He said that he needed to snake it and it would be $135. It ended up costing $165. I am not sure what I paid for when it comes to the big deal. I would look at other companies before I would use them again.

They fixed an outside leak but they did not fix the other leak that I originally called about so I had to call them to have them come back out. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them.

Superior Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Service was great. I needed to drain my pool but had no cleanout that provided access to my sewer line. I had to find the sewer line and then install a cleanout. Another plumbing company had come out (Albert Nahman) and provided an estimate of $2,700 to find the sewer line and install a cleanout. Superior found the line 30 inches below ground for $350 by using a camera/transmitter that they put into the sewer line through a vent on the roof. After establishing that there was no hidden existing cleanout, they spent a lot of time and effort to dig to the sewer line to make sure they knew exactly where the line was located. They then came back and installed the cleanout for $750. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and much less expensive than my other option. I was very pleased with my experience.

They were great. I still have to call them because I paid for the installation of the toilet and I haven't gotten that done yet but that's my fault. But I'm really happy with the service. The guy was amazing. He just came over, he was there on time, he stayed really late to solve the problem and he's really nice and helpful. It was $1,500 but they did a lot of stuff. While they were there, there was some other things that he pointed out that I just decided to go ahead and do so I wouldn't have problems later. They were very helpful, I don't know what caused these things really but I just thought they did work a lot and that it was a good price.

I am very happy. They were very professional and they gave me helpful information on how to maintain everything.
