I called Superior as my second choice when my usual plumber was unavailable, based on Angie's List ratings and service cost for drain cleaning. I was quoted a $29 service fee and asked to pay it via Angie's List in advance. I was also given an appointment time from between 9a and 11a today (I called around 8:30a), so punctuality was AMAZING. When Jorge arrived with his assistant, he looked at the situation and quoted $150 for just the drain cleaning or $350 for replacing the sink drains and under-sink cabinet plumbing. He noted that he could do the drain cleaning now and come back, possibly, to do the plumbing replacement but then it would be $150 today and $350 the next time. So I went for the package deal. Jorge communicated very well about what he was doing and where he was going (he had to go to the store to get some supplies). He and his assistant comported themselves very well overall with general communication, responsiveness, quality and punctuality. The whole job was done in less than 2 hours and the final invoice was for $350 (plus the $29 already paid as service fee) as Jorge said when they started and I accepted. The only reason I gave a "B" for Professionalism is that even though the work was quick and apparently high quality, some waste was left in the sinks after the work was completed and the two replaced drains do not match in style (sharper versus rounded internal corners) and in finish (one is chrome, the other brushed steel). These are very minor issues and I normally wouldn't make any note of it. But I figured a slight ding on Professionalism is fair in that I would have wanted to be consulted on it before install. I probably would have said yes, but I would have liked to have been able to make the choice instead of having it made for me. After this review was posted, Superior called back and arranged a free visit to replace the chrome drain with one that matched my sink and the other drain. Yay! I am now totally satisfied with the work they provided.

Unfortunately, what would have taken just one plumbing visit, ended up requiring a second visit. The first 2 plumbers failed to correctly caulk the new tub spout and did not caulk at all the scutcheon surrounding the new shower arm. At second visit, a new plumber--who I will now request for future services--finished the job. Because of this second visit plumber and his professionalism, I will return to Superior for future needs. As to price, I do not know what the going rate is for the above service, so I'll say it's a "good" price and trust that it was.

Everything went well. Jose was very professional and pleasant. We are very happy with his work and will definitely ask for him again.

PART 1: A call was placed in the morning, within a couple of hours a licensed tech was out there to spot the trouble. Fortunately they had a very nice looking kitchen faucet to replace and install a new unit within a short amount of time! Thanks for heading out there in a pinch! It was important we took care of this before the Home Inspection took place for the new buyer! PART 2: Sewer snake-out. There were some massive tree roots that had taken over the sewer line. The clean out was efficiently executed and now everything is "flowing" smoothly! Again, thank you for helping us out! Your initial RESPONSE to SUPERIOR COMMUNICATION (with photos!) and performing both tasks couldn't have been handled better! Team work, communication and efficiency is crucial to serving customers! We operate an Electrical, Plumbing and Construction business - out of state! :)

The $29.00 "deal" was credited back in the purchase & installation cost of the new water heater. I had worked with this company once before and felt both times they were professional, reasonable and most importantly honest.

Price was too high for work performed. Plumber called due to toilet leaking through the floor to condo unit below. Also to replace toilet flapper. Plumber pulled the toilet and discovered the wax ring was not providing an adequate seal. I asked the plumber not to reset the toilet so I could contact the installer. Plumber replaced the flapper but did not reset the toilet. I was charged a $250 reset fee, even though the plumber did not reset the toilet. I called and spoke with a manager about the cost and he said it was a flat rate. The cost was too high for the service performed and I was able to complete the repair with another plumber for $170.

Superior did get back to me quickly in email and called back right away but unfortunately they quoted me $25-50 (prices varied by who I talked with) just to come out and give me an estimate for new work I wanted done. No way around this and a shame b/c they automatically lost my job as well as my interest in any future work.

The technician listened to the loud humming sound which was coming from the pipes whenever we ran the faucets or flushed the toilets. He immediately identified the problem and I gave him permission to work on the broken PRV pressure valve. His assistant replaced the valve, reset the PSI to 60 (it was running at twice the rate), replaced the pipe on the main water unit out front, and put new insulation around it. The humming has stopped and the pipes seem to be working well.

They were punctual and polite as I was 10 minutes late to arrive at my home after work. They quickly assessed the faucet and under the sink and found the problem in less than 30 minutes. It didn't take long to fix it and they only charged me the minimum rate of $29.00. I couldn't believe it. I kept thinking to myself, "honest plumbers!" That's why I'm writing this review. It was so quick and smooth went right to the bathroom and checked the tub told me it was the cold water where the leak was. And what had to be done the cost excellent service. There was no problem did what had to be done.

The technicians were very courteous and clean. They did a very nice job.

Arrived promptly, identified leak problem, quoted reasonable price for the repair (which I decided to do on my own). Shut off water to the leak and flagged it for me. Work went beyond the $29 diagnostic quote (including having to cut bushes out of the way and do a little digging, but the crew was fantastic and didn't upcharge in any way. They were extremely courteous, professional, and efficient.

Superior Plumbing (Vincent/Rudy) modified existing installation to fit new water pressure reducing valve. They were knowledgeable and hardworking to reduce modifications/cost and still get the job done.
