Marie visited our home, showed us samples, gave us some fundamental education on cabinet materials and craftsmanship, and helped us identify our own unique style. She took measurements of our space and we picked out the specific doors for our job. She took the measurements back to the shop where her son, Chris, designed a layout of our cabinetry. Ridino's Cabinets provided an itemized list of work that could be done including custom built upper and lower cabinets, cabinets to enclose our refrigerator, and cabinetry in our laundry room. The prices were not more more than what we had been quoted for a similar layout of another company's cabinets. We visited Chris in the shop on a weekend and he took two hours to go over our kitchen design. Ridino's Cabinets was happy to customize the function of our cabinets toward our specific desires including glass doors, enclosed trash and recycle cans, a pull out spice rack and long, deep drawers for pots and pans. All of their cabinets use European hinges and have the "soft close" function, so there is no slamming. They were able to stick to their original price estimate, always showed up at our house on time (for the estimate and for install) and were flexible with us. The only reason I scored them a B for responsiveness is because Marie often did not answer emails. She is much easier to work with via telephone. Chris always answers our calls and is very prompt in responding to our concerns. When we discovered a drawer which wasn't working properly, Chris came out the next day to resolve the issue, no questions asked. The Ridino family has been in this business for over 20 years. They have great pride of ownership and they care deeply for the quality of their product. The are mostly referral based and have many repeat customers. I know we'll use them for our future needs!!!
