Erasto worked diligently to repair the shades which were not easy to fix. He was able to fix two of the shades. The 3rd one had the cord fixed but he could not fix the locking mechanism. Erasto did a great job given the difficulty of the repair. He never gave up, even when I thought he should stop. And the result was much better than I expected!

It was a very good experience...so much so that I placed another order for more window coverings!!!

Erasto showed up at the appointed time for estimate, delivered items early, was on time for installation, my rooms look beautiful.

They were very knowledgeable and prompt and I would use them, but I ended up going in a different direction.

The owner came to the house initially, showed me samples, took measurements, and then informed me that it cost $40 for him to come out and do the estimate. I thought that was absolutly rediculous since he got the order for the blinds. He waived the cost, and returned as promised to hang the blinds which looked quite nice. However, before long the top of the blind which had a hole that fitted into the clip ont he track starting cracking so I had to take a tape, secure it to the blind so that the hole was still available, and reattached to the clip on the track. I can 't tell you how many of the blinds did just that. Finally, I went over to the shop, told them the problem and the man, not the owner, sold me 20 clips for $20. I am using them up as we speak. The problem is that it would have been nice if the owner had told me that the quality of the blinds would end up like this and suggest another, better quality product.

He seemed very honest and we discussed a lot of options. He was on time for the appointment and if I decide to do the project, I may go with him. In the end, I decided not to do the project at all, and will probably just get curtains.

After researching Angie's List, I called Reseda Shade Company because of the excellent reviews they received. I spoke with Ernesto, the owner, and told him I was not sure what I wanted. He came out and talked about some options. I was thinking of shades and told him I really wanted shutters but knew they were out of my budget. He said that maybe they weren't. I selected the wood shutters in both a maple color and white for the bathroom. He wrote up a quote immediately and I was so surprised that it was very reasonable. I was extremely pleased and said yes to the shutters. As promised they came approximately four weeks later and installed the beautiful custom shutters. Everyone I dealt with, Ernesto and two installers, were very professional, courteous and competent. It was very easy from start to finish. Now I have what I truly wanted but thought I'd never get. A little later that afternoon, Ernesto called to see how everything went and if I were satisfied. I answered that I was VERY happy and the shutters were beautiful. He said if I had any questions I should just call. I recommend Reseda Shade Company without hesitation. The entire process went very smoothly with no problems whatsoever.

The owner came over to take all the measurements. Explained the different options available. The price was reasonable and in line with other vendors. The team came on time for all appointments. On installation day, they were quick efficient and finished everything in time. The quality of work is very good. I would recommend these guys again.

Ernesto was awesome. He was prompt for the first appointment and he offered great advice. He did some measurements and gave me a great price on the spot. He even came back to measure again after we changed our minds. He and his installer came back to install and did a beautiful job. This is a very professional company!

I contacted Reseda Shade Co. on July 29, 2011, after I had a consultation with 3-Day Blinds a couple of days prior. I was very dissatisfied with 3-Day Blinds for several reasons: (1) The representative called me 15 minutes past our appointment time for the initial consultation, and told me then that she was running late (2) She quoted me $3,600 for my four windows (3) She never even emailed or called me back to follow-up after our appointment. So I next looked in Angie's List to see if I can do some comparison shopping, especially based on customer satisfaction. When I first contacted Reseda Shade Co., Erasto answered my call at about 8:30 am. During that initial call, we set up an appointment to do a consultation the following morning (this was for a Saturday). Erasto was not only on time for the appointment, but was actually early! He was extremely friendly, professional, and also very honest and direct. He took his time to explain everything to me, and offered me customization to my shutters at no extra cost, which was not the experience I had with 3-Day Blinds. He told me that it would take 2-3 weeks to make the shutters and then to have them installed. I told him that was fine, but if he could try to complete them sooner it would be even better, since my parents were going to visit me from out of town. Then, after only about 1.5 weeks, Erasto contacted me to tell me that my shutters were done! Wow, talk about a pleasant surprise. On August 15th, two of Erasto's contractors arrived at my condo exactly on time (once again). Both men (both named Luis, haha), were also very friendly and professional. Erasto also came by to check on how the work was going - wow, talk about customer service! All in all, it took them about 5 hours to complete - they were certainly efficient and did not waste any time installing my shutters that day. For a *very particular* customer like me, I am not one to easily write these kinds of recommendations. However, if the work and service provider(s) are as exemplary as Erasto and his men were, I am more than happy to write something like this.

I called Ernesto, the owner/manager of the company, who made an appointment at which he arrived very promptly. Ernest is extremely knowledgeable, very amiable and sincere. He listened to our concerns, made helpful suggestions which helped us reach a decision. The window treatments were ready and installed on the date promised. Erasto came out to measure and give us a quote. He made recommendations and we listened and went with traditional blinds for our home. They gave us a quote and we gave them a deposit. We had contractors working on the interior for a long time. They checked in with us periodically. Finally, we were able to have Erasto out to install the new blinds and they look great. Great people to do business with-thanks guys!

I found them on Angie’s List. They were great. It cost me $800 for their service. It’s a smaller company and they do more personal service than the big ones. So, I like their personal service. The guy pointed out several things that nobody else had said. He said that cheap shades could have an odor because they are made in China and they can have a residual odor. He also said everything he makes is made in the country itself and things like that. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Ernesto was as professional as they come. He answered my call on the first try, scheduled an appointment to come out for an estimate with a few days, showed up on time, listened to what we wanted, talked to us about our options and showed us examples. We ordered and within a week he called to schedule an install, again showed up on time, installed our 6 door shades quickly, cleanly and efficiently and was off...like a window treatment wizard! I highly recommend this company because of their fair pricing and competent personnel. We will be using them again for our front window shades

Reseda Shade Company is a wonderful company with the nicest, most competent and caring owner! I needed two sun shades for my eastern facing windows. Both windows are HUGE and the sun and heating made one of the rooms almost unliveable. The owner is very hands-on which I like very much. He came. He measured. We discussed a variety of products and prices. He did not try to pressure me into anything. He gave facts which I checked out and found to be true. Intregrity is very important. He said his prices were the best and he was right. I made my normal comparison calls before buying (something which even he said was a good idea!) and he was telling the truth, often by hundreds of dollars!! The first shade was installed and the installation was fast and easy. Can't wait until the second blind can be installed after I finish some construction work in the room where it will go. I spoke with Ernesto by phone to arrange a date/time to obtain an estimate for window blinds. During the phone conversation, I stated that I had already received several estimates but was looking to find the right combination of good price + a company I would happy to work with. Ernesto was very pleasant and understanding on the phone and I looked forward to meeting with him. Ernesto arrived early and let himself into the house where other workers were doing their jobs; I arrived a few minutes later and was surprised not only to find Ernesto in the house, but that he had already begun to measure the windows without me present. Because most of the windows in question open from side-to-side (rather than up-and-down), I wanted vertical blinds to open in the same direction as the windows. I was rather shocked that Ernesto began to argue with me, stating that I needed horizontal blinds on these windows - not vertical. I began to explain my reasoning for wanting vertical blinds, but Ernesto was adamant that I was wrong. Within moments, I asked Ernesto to leave as it was clear this was not going anywhere positive. I ended up purchasing the window blinds I wanted from another company, which have been installed and work perfectly - for which I am pleased.

We found Reseda in Angie's List and based on the recommendations decided to give them a call (we had thought of another company but the reviews here were not so kind). Ernesto answered the cell and came over to measure the following day. He brought samples with him and we were able to make a decision quite easily. He told us that we'd have them in two weeks and that's exactly when he called back with them. One of the blinds was a quarter inch too wide and he beautifully trimmed it on site. He also painted the non-shade parts to match the shades which looked fantastic. The shades are working perfectly. Recommend!

As I stated before, Sergio was very easy to reach on the phone to make an appointment, and he even arrived at my townhouse early for the appointment. He listened to what I needed and he offered some good suggestions, so I didn't have to waste time looking through a lot of samples. He understood what I wanted and narrowed down the choices, so it was easy to make a decision. He and his assistant installed all the vertical blinds quickly and showed me how to operate them, so I wouldn't damage the mechanism. I couldn't be more pleased by the whole experience.

I had a wonderful experience dealing with the Reseda Shade Company. Ernesto was punctional, friendly and professional. There was no hard selling; instead he reviewed lower price options without this customer having to ask. He customized and installed beautiful blinds for my bay window. Will do business again.

We called Reseda Shade Co. on 11/29/10, and they made an appointment to come out the next day. Ernesto called to say he'd be here at 4:30 and was right on time. He was exceptionally friendly and professional with a wonderfully positive attitude. He tested the tilt mechanism on the venetian blind, identified the faulty spinner and replaced it in the space of ten minutes. After replacing the blind and its facing, he checked our other blind and found that its facing was loose. He found facing clips that worked to repair the facing and took care of that as well. We could not have asked for more prompt and professional service at a very reasonable price.

Erasto came to my home and gave me various recommendations and quoted me a very resonable price. The blinds were delivered and installed about a week after our initial meeting. I can't say enough good things about Erasto and his attitude and overall willingness to please the customer. I've worked with some bad contractors before and Erasto and his company Reseda Shade are at the completely opposite end of the spectrum. I highly recommend to have him be one of your choices if you're looking for bids on a project.
