Great job by Erasto - he gave us a solid estimate and stuck to his planned delivery date. Installation took a little less than two hours, and the final product works great. Great experience overall; we would definitely work with Reseda Shade Co. again.

Our ranch-style house previously had very heavy, old beige curtains with a huge beige valance extending across the entire back wall of our living room and dining room. Not a pretty sight. After replacing the carpet and completing a kitchen remodel, we gleefully removed the existing curtains and valance. Reseda Shade was at the top of my list after reading so many positive reviews on Angie's List. Erasto worked with my schedule and set-up the initial appointment on the first phone call. Erasto arrived promptly (even a little early, imagine that!) and helped make the final selections that my husband and I both liked. This was a huge accomplishment considering how far apart we were at the onset. When the draperies were ready, Erasto arrived on time and personally took care of the installation. The end result was a total transformation of our living room and dining room- the draperies were beautiful! The tone-on-tone blue gray draperies were offset nicely by the sheer panels. We were also very happy with the soft honeycomb shade Erasto installed for the garden window. He even installed a small metal piece to wrap the cord around so the cord wouldn't dangle on the side of the shade. From start to finish, Erasto was personable, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. We will definitely use Reseda Shade for other window coverings in our home and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. The company's excellent ratings are very well deserved!

Erasto came in and personally helped me select colors and types of window treatments; he then measured the windows, saying they would be ready in around 2 1/2 weeks. His experience was invaluable in selecting appropriate solutions within our budget. Also, his response to calls and questions is exemplary. They really did come in 2 1/2 weeks later! They were installed in around 3 hours and looked beautiful. There was a problem with the great room window shades: they were not cut long enough or wide enough. Those 2 were replaced 2 weeks later, it all looks wonderful. With all the problems that go with owning a new home it was nice to have Erasto and his crew taking care of shades/blinds and giving us one less thing to worry about. Even though there was a problem with the great room blinds they were taken care promptly and to our complete satisfaction, the hallmark of a truly professional operation. Thank you Reseda Blinds, we can?t recommend you enough!

Reseda Shade was wonderful to work with. The owner, Erasto, came out to measure the 3 windows we were interested in covering with shutters. He was professional, punctual, and very personable. He truly loves what he does. He took a paint sample to match the color that we wanted to match with the baseboards. Having shutters throughout our previous home, we were familiar with pricing and thought Erasto's quote was fair and quite reasonable. Our order was completed in 2 weeks and installed beautifully by his 2 installers. They were neat, punctual and very dedicated to doing a good job. The shutters (wide 4 1/2 louvres) are gorgeous, work well, and we couldn't be more pleased!! We would certainly contact Reseda Shade in the future if we need shutters!!

The cord on one of my blinds had frayed badly and eventually broken, making it impossible to draw the blinds to one side. When Luis came out to record it, he realized that an internal piece of plastic had broken, making it impossible to replace the cord. Since my other draw cords were also badly frayed, he was asked to replace those cords as well. Apparently, the tracks on all three blinds were badly made (causing premature fraying), so he eventually replaced three tracks. Luis was prompt, very polite, and clearly skilled at his craft.

Called to request an estimate and they came within an hour. We made or selection and the product was installed on time and came out perfect. We couldn't be happier.

Excellent experience. Erasto was very prompt in setting up initial appointment and taking measurements. His pricing was EXTREMELY competitive compared with the other quotes I got. His installers were on time, efficient, professional and clean. I would definitely use this company again for shade installation in the future.

Erasto and his team at Reseda Shade custom made 30+ plantation shutters for my new home. They also made custom blinds and curtains. The shutters were a very big job, and Erasto's quote came in nearly 25% less expensive than the next closest quote I received. The quality of the shutters and the paintwork is fantastic, and every shutter fits its designated window perfectly. As Erasto explained to me, shutters are like "a piece of furniture" in the home. I would highly recommend Reseda Shade for beautiful, quality window treatments.

Owner made service call. He was prompt, friendly and polite. The order was filled in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the work done. He also was much lower in price than other estimates for same thing.

Erasto is simply the best. He was friendly and professional from the start, and gave me a great estimate on shutters and honeycomb blinds. He arrived today on time and finished the job within an hour and a half! The honeycomb blinds in the bedroom look good, but the shutters in the living room look simply AMAZING! I am shocked how much my room is transformed by these great looking shutters. I had some sad, ugly, hospital looking curtains and I am so glad I made the decision to get shutters. The shutters are beautiful and Erasto (and his helper) did great job with installation. Once I have more money, I will definitely hire Erasto to do more window treatments in my condo.

When I first phoned, I got a message machine that said they would call back within one hour. They did (which is amazing!), but my phone was on the fritz. They left a message, I called to apologize and again got the message. Indeed, they called again within an hour and again, it was my phone that wasn't working. We went out for dinner -- and even then, they tried to phone a third time, clearly after the shop had closed, and left a message for me. I called them back in the morning and I apologized and thanked them for continuing to attempt to reach me. (I have many times left messages for other providers who never got back to me at all!! So this was the first happy surprise). Eresto, the owner, was so polite and nice -- it was he who had personally been phoning me.. After I told him basically what I wanted, he suggested I look at some things online (at the manufacturer's site) to narrow down my choices, and he arranged a time to come out -- He was there exactly on time. He also did not complain that I lived so far from his shop (unlike other providers who actually refused to drive out here, saying fuel cost too much). He showed me various choices, listened to my needs, and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. It turned out that some of my windows and French doors are odd shapes and sizes, so that standard materials would not work, but he figured out ways to deal with it and discussed the options with me. He offered a price that was quite fair for the amount and quality, and said that if we ordered now (with 1/2 deposit) and continued to get additional bids, if any of those bids on the exact same products came in less, he would meet that lower price. We didn't see the need to get further bids, but really appreciated his willingness to meet lowers prices if we found them. He estimated two and a half weeks for completion, and we made a date and time for installation -- for a Monday. On the Friday before the planned installation date, he phoned to say that the work was complete, and if it was convenient, he could come out that very day to install! He did come out, exactly on time. As he was installing, he discovered that my house's walls are solid brick (I didn't think to tell him this) -- most houses are not solid brick -- so he had to use special equipment (which he had in the truck) and it took him an hour or so longer than expected -- he did not charge for the extra time and was very polite and neat the whole time. He cleaned up pretty well after himself, though I did need to ask him to sweep sawdust from the area just outside of the front door, which he happily did. He showed us how to use the shades (some were very unusual, in that they can either roll from the top or the bottom of the window) and explained various safety features (in case children came to visit). The results are GORGEOUS and exactly what I wanted. He even made sure that the valances over the wood shades were especially decorative, much nicer than others I had seen that were just flat and plain, and that the ones for the shades in the family room were narrow and thus did not detract from the look of the door frames. He did all the measuring and installation work himself -- he says that when he has really large jobs, he does have others work for him but that he always comes there to supervise. It was a very pleasant experience and I totally recommend this company.

He came right out the day I called for an estimate. He special ordered window treatments for us, he was fabulous! When we said the cost was too high he found ones that were more affordable. Ernesto is wonderful!

I liked working with this company. They show up when they say they will, do what they say they will do, and charge a fair price without the "I'm paying for a house on Mulholland Drive" surcharge. The other two companies I had in to do the same job wanted several hundred more for the same stuff. (LITERALLY the same stuff - made by the same factory, with the same names for the material!)

The service was excellent. They did a fabulous job. The workers came out, gave a reasonable quote, and did beautiful work. They were all very very professional, and the owner came out twice to make sure everything was going ok. I would recommend them.

The came on time as agreed, installed everything quickly but with quality, and also in a clean fashion. Professionals with high integrity, hard-working. Highly recommend.

Eresto is someone I would highly recommend. He is very professional and he really enjoys his job. We first asked him to come to make measurements to give us an estimate. We gave him an indication of what things we wanted and he gave appropriate recommendation based on our preference. Also, he was very interested in the value I would get from each different products. He talked very candidly about each product and was very well versed in his field. Due to multiple work going on Eresto had to come multiple times which he did without ever sounding annoyed. He was always very help out if something needed to be done. We had hardwood installed and in the process of doing that it damaged the wooden shutters that Eresto had put in. He came out promptly to do the repair work. His word is good as contract. Also, he is just a really nice person.

My wife and I were looking for blinds both for privacy and to somewhat lessen the heat of summer. We called Reseda Shade Co. and spoke to Erasto to set up an in-home estimate. It was a great experience from start to finish. Erasto was very courteous, punctual, likeable, and professional. He gave us good advice on what kinds of blinds and colors would work well in our home. In some cases his advice steered us towards options that were less expensive than what we had in mind so I didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of. That's a nice feeling. The price was very competitive for that type of blind (honeycomb insulated) and the amount of window space, and when unforeseen factory delivery problems threatened to derail our original installation date Erasto and his brother went to great lengths to make things stay on schedule. He seemed more upset about the possible delay than I was! The actual installation went smoothly. It was done about 30% faster than the time estimate Erasto had given us during the in-home consultation. Everything looks great and the house actually does feel noticeably cooler. Hurray! In the near future we plan on getting blinds for some of the windows that we didn't feel we needed blinds for (we just put up curtains), now that we've seen how wonderfully the other windows turned out. We'll definitely call Reseda Shade Co. again for that.

They were professional. He is very knowledge, competent and skilled in the work that he does. He offered extended courtesy and is easily accessible by phone and in person.

Called Reseda Shade on a Saturday and Erasto showed up as promised the next day. He had great ideas and was generous with his time. We felt so comfortable with him and his prices were so fair we gave him a deposit and ordered our shutters and roller shades. Erasto's installers showed up on time and did fantastic work. Luis the shutter installer and Luis the roller shade installer were so professional, helpful and great at their jobs!!! Thanks to all you guys for a wonderful job!

Excellent. We had two other higher quotes. We asked Reseda to bid Qmotion shades which he hadn't installed before and he contacted the Qmotion rep and ordered the shades. The Qmotion rep even accompanied Ernesto to the install. The install was quick and all work was very high quality. Ernesto even changed the valance to improve it's appearance. He volunteered to do this himself (without prompting from us) as he felt the look of the first valance was not professional enough. I feel much better now that I have the best product on the market and a careful and professional install.

He was great from start to finish. Very professional, punctual and efficient. You can tell he is a perfectionist. I would recommend him to anyone.
