Description of Work: Luis is very knowledgable. He's helped me chose the right plants for my garden. He obtained them at a competitive price. His crew has done a good job of planting and tending to them. It took us a while to get into the right scheduling groove but once we found a day and time that works for both his crew and us, we've been completely satisfied.

Description of Work: Luis came and landscaped our entire front yard. He tore up the old grass, removed it, put down sod, and designed a front flower bed area. When it came time to pick bushes and flowers for the front bed, he brought a huge selection of plants to my home, and allowed me to pick the flowers and bushes that I liked. He was so friendly, so knowledgeable, and an overall pleasure to work with. His price was competitive and very fair. The work was done in 2 full days. We are in love with the final product, and cannot say enough good things about Luis. This guy really knows his plants and is a great landscaper. I am so pleased my new yard! |As a sidenote, when we first contacted Luis, he was unable to start the work for a few weeks because he was so busy. Don't worry though, he is worth the wait!

Description of Work: Called on Friday. Made an appointment for Monday morning. They never showed up or called. Called them and left message on answering machine asking if they were coming but never received call back.

Description of Work: This company started out excellent but then they stopped coming....they were coming every 2 weeks then they were supposed to do the landscaping every 3 weeks but they stopped.... We called them to come back out and they said they would but they never came back... We don't know why this happened-we paid whenever they left a bill in our mailbox. There is a definite lack of communication with this company

Description of Work: Luis and his crew came and did an outstanding job removing sod and installing a great layer of weed barrier. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Description of Work: The actual service date is ongoing. I hired them as my lawn/yard service and they come once a week to maintain my lawn.

Description of Work: Luis, the owner came for an estimate on the work I needed done in and around my yard. He sent two men every Thursday at the same time each week. They seemed quite responsive to my needs, cleaned up afterwards. I have only used them five times but so far so good. will write more later if need be.

Description of Work: We had a collapsed 35 foot section of drain pipe. 12 feet of it was under concrete. Luis and his crew cut the concrete very precisely and dug a narrow trench all the way to the street. The replacement pipe they installed was a very high grade material that would prevent roots from growing into the pipe which was the cause of the damaged pipe. They did a great job of laying in the new concrete and patching the lawn back into shape as best they could.. The concrete came out looking very smooth. They did a great job of cleaning up as well. The estimate Luis gave me for the job was spot on. There were no unexpected extra charges. I would absolutely hire him again. A+++!!!

Description of Work: I made three separate appointments and rearranged my schedule but each time Luis never showed up. He kept saying he was interested in the project. But he may be way too busy to take on new clients.

Description of Work: Luis is doing a great job with our lawn. It's too bad we waited so long to switch from our previous gardener. Our lawn has never looked better! He even adjusted our current sprinklers and added new ones so we no longer have patches of dirt instead of grass. And he's a really nice guy.

Description of Work: He was hired through Angies List as a landscape detail and maintenance in one package...He said since the garden was complicated (an English garden design not too big) he would need several hours to detail and maintain and it would be $197 per month. He said he would be there personally every other week but his other guy was as good as he was...As the months went on plants were dying and most importantly he did not prune the roses for the winter. My roses are expensive and the heart of the garden and it became apparent that he did not know you were supposed to do that at all..I realized then that he did not know the first thing about garden detail and specific plants and how to maintain them. He also let a portion of my japanese boxwood die and did not replace it. when I asked repeatedly for him to replace the section, he replied that he did not know what kind of hedge it was! Even I know about japanese boxwood...I basically was not sold a bill of goods...He is a pleasant man but he was not honest about what he knows and to charge me that amount for what was basically a "mow and blow" situation was bad...He then blamed it on his other guy but said if I wanted his attention weekly then it would cost more! So I found a detailer through Sheridan Nursery and asked Luis for my keys back and fired him. I never received my keys and had to pay to have the locks on my gates changed. I never heard from him at all...I was very disappointed and it is my first bad AngiesList experience. He is not what you have him described as at all...and people should know what they are getting.

Description of Work: I left several messages and no one called me back. I dont like to leave F's for that, maybe they were busy. I would have liked to get a call back, but its not the end of the world. I hired someone else who is not on Angies List.

Description of Work: The water line for our sprinklers developed a leak that we couldn't locate. Luis came up with an ingenious solution for bypassing the problem by connecting in an alternative water source. All in all, very professional and helpful.

Description of Work: FRONT AND REAR LAWN POISONED. GROUND CLEARED, TRENCHED DUG& NEW SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLED. GROUND SOAKED FOR 3-4 WEEKS & SOD LAID.
