Description of Work: When we purchased our home it was listed as two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a den, however we saw potential to retain the original footprint of the home while doing remodeling to result in a full-fledged three bedroom with a legitimate master bedroom/bathroom. After speaking to three different architects and general contractors it was a huge relief to sit down with Ofir. Though he is a GC on paper, his design skills were savvy enough to provide us with a couple of creative options for achieving our goal to create a master bedroom/bath. The scope of work included a bathroom demo and remodel, modifications to our electric panel, building of kitchen cabinetry to match existing cabinets, painting of the outside of the house and some inside walls and a remodel of the garage to create a more finished look and feel. Ofir was aware of our budget from the start and was honest about what he could and could not do within our price range. He was well aware that we had no wiggle room, thus he created a plan and budget for the project which, I believe, included a bit of padding which he could rely on in the case of unforeseeable circumstances (they always come up when doing remodeling work, right?) In my opinion, this was smart and allowed for Ofir to respond positively to nearly all of our add-on requests as they come up during the course of the work. In addition to the price quoted for the job, we were responsible for paying for certain elements of the job (i.e. we paid separated and above and beyond for the bathroom tiles, for the bathroom vanities, for the new light fixtures and fan and for a few other items). This allowed us to have a degree of control over the total cost of the job - we went more high end or more low key depending on our personal preferences. The job took about three weeks longer than anticipated, in part due to poor weather conditions, in part due to lagging in our decision making and some in part to underestimating of the scope of the job on Ofir's part. Regardless, this wasn't a big deal for us. The crew made it very easy to live in the house while construction was taking place. They worked hard and did a great job - we particularly liked the painter who was on our job - talented, a jack of many trades, very very nice and tidy. We were not particularly impressed with the company Ofir recommended for the glass shower door, however. We've had to call them back twice and the door still isn't quite perfect. Ofir is a very easy going person who works very hard to gain the satisfaction of his clients. He is down to earth and honest. Overall we are very pleased with the work his crew performed and we recommend him to any of our friends who are looking to have work done on their house.

As far as i can tell this person was under some kind of alcohol or drug when calling us. Thats way we made a choice not to go for a meeting. He was shouting and using bad language over the phone.

In the initial consultation, Ofir spent about two hours going over all of the details of the job he was proposing to do. During this consultation, he asked us many questions about the details of the job, such as what features we wanted in our cabinets. He also offered a lot of really useful advice on what he recommended for our home. He talked us through the entire process that we should expect. He also told us that he bids jobs with the knowledge that there will be things that come up during the work that aren't called out in the initial bid, but that he will take care of whatever needs doing as the work progresses. Ofir also explicitly stated that he would pull all appropriate permits for every job he did. Ofir's love of his job showed even during the initial consultation, and we decided to use him for our remodel. Boy, are we glad we did. Our job was scheduled to start in the second week of November, and finish by December 11. His crew showed up each morning about when we left for work, worked hard and professionally, and left our home in clean, usable shape each day before they went home. They were often still working when we'd arrive home at the end of the workday. His crew showed up every day, and they accomplished everything they had on their list of tasks for the day. The first day was spent on demolition. Everything was removed from the old kitchen that day. The next 3 days were spent on redoing the electrical, plumbing, and getting these inspected. A couple of days were spent on insulating and drywall patching and repairing to make the space ready for the installation of the new kitchen. During this time, the crew discovered that our sink drain line was rotting. As promised, Ofir just took care of it. The only change order that ended up costing extra was the addition of a gas line to our patio so that I could hook up a natural gas barbeque later, and that only cost extra because I didn't think of it at the start of construction. Ofir hired a subcontractor to take care of the floor next, as his crew isn't expert in laminate flooring. They did the rest of the work themselves, and did it quickly and competently. By day 8, cabinet installation started. This work took a couple of days, and completely transformed our old kitchen from one we hated into one we love. The pantry has pull-out shelves so we can find stuff, the corner cabinet has a HUGE lazy susan, the drawers are large and deep, and pull out ALL the way so we can get at the stuff in the back. The new design of the cabinets roughly DOUBLED the storage space (by going all the way to the ceiling and by using space previously wasted), and all of it is really accessible. Once the base cabinets were in place, they were able to make a template for the countertop. While waiting for the stone to be cut, they installed the upper cabinets, replaced the kitchen window with a beautiful double-paned window, and painted the walls. This took us to the beginning of Thanksgiving week. During this third week of the remodel, they installed the sink and replaced the appliances, getting our kitchen ready so that we could use it to help with Thanksgiving cooking. We still had two weeks left before our finish date, but we were able to use the kitchen already. We also picked out the tile we'd use for the back splash at this time. During the fourth week, they installed the tile backsplash and the lighting above the sink, and we got the final inspection. The job was done over a week early. There were a lot of little surprises for us, and these have generally been wonderful. We've gained a lot of storage, but we didn't realize how much we'd appreciate having countertop on both sides of the stove. The lazy susan is MUCH more useful than we had expected it to be. The pullouts on the pantry mean that stuff in the back is just as likely to be used as stuff in the front. We did have to look things over each day, and we were almost always impressed by what we saw. There were a couple of times when we saw something not quite right. For example, the electrical outlets hadn't all been installed at exactly the same height. We didn't notice this when they were initially installed, but when the tile was going up, it became glaringly obvious that a couple of them were off. When we pointed this out, they were fixed and the file appropriately adjusted the next day. But all of the issues we did find were minor like this. Nothing affected safety, usability, or beauty of our new kitchen. We were mostly concerned that the kitchen we ended up with was functional. And it is. But it's also beautiful. Every day when we come home to see it, it seems like we're walking into a model home. We used to think that when we moved to a larger home, we'd finally get a kitchen we loved. We never thought we'd have one in this house. But what we ended up with is beautiful, functional, and wonderful. We're planning on having Ofir's crew redo both of our bathrooms in the coming months, because they did such a wonderful job on the kitchen. I'd highly recommend Future Home Builders to anyone who wants a great job done the right way the first time. During the

The process began with Mr. Grushkovski coming to the house and finding out exactly what we wanted to have done. Once he completed a survey of the areas, he sat down with us and took the time to design several possible plans on his computer. This differed from other people we had talked with who said they would come back with ideas (some didn't even do that). Although this step took some time, he was very patient and answered all of our questions and concerns. He willingly showed us the conceptual drawings so that we could have a better idea of what we could expect. Once the project began, the crews took the time every day to cover any floor areas that they might have to walk through and envelop the workspace areas as completely as possible to limit construction dust and debris which was greatly appreciated since we stayed in the house during the project. The project was completed on time, which was also a pleasant surprise after talking to other people who had similar projects and listening to their stories. What was most impressive was that once the projecrt was completed and we noticed some things that needed to be addressed, they were very receptive to listening and sent personnel out to quickly resolve the issues. We actually ended up picking up approximately 20 square feet of usable space in the kitchen and increased the size of the shower in the master bath, all in the same space as before, through the design prowess of Mr. Grushkovski Overall, we were extremely impressed with the craftsmanship of everyone involved and the professional manner exhibited, especially post project.

From the moment my wife and I met Ofir of Future Home Builders, we were impressed-not an easy accomplishment. We purchased a 1962 built home that needed a completely new kitchen, completely new master bathroom, new sliding doors, new doors, some new windows, and some walls modified. We are VERY detail oriented people who do our homework when it comes to taking on any project. Ofir ?endured? our first array of questions and concerns and put us at ease. We interviewed a few contractors, but only Ofir instilled a sense of confidence and trust that is vital to us as customers. From the first moment it was obvious he was sincerely working FOR and WITH us to accomplish our goal and not simply what was easiest and most profitable for him. He never rushed us. In fact, he took even more time than we planned on to create a clear goal. He wanted to be sure we knew our options and would be happy with the final outcome. In addition, he wisely drew up a clear contract stating the cost and exactly what he would be responsible for. There was never any disagreement or confusion about money during the project. What a relief. We of course made changes and had new requests during the project of which Ofir addressed as clearly and professionally as our original requests. We have all heard the horror stories of contractors being unorganized, out of touch, showing up to work only whenever they want to and on and on. This was NOT our experience with Ofir! We were delighted to find him extremely organized, punctual, polite, knowledgeable, patient, reliable and ALWAYS accessible. If he did not answer his phone, he would call us back swiftly. We NEVER felt abandoned. Even after our completion date and to this day if we ever have a problem, we know we can call him and he will address our issue. Fantastic customer service. Ofir?s crew always showed up on time daily, worked hard and at a QUALITY level. They were patient with my many questions and concerns along the way. Inevitably problems and obstacles will arise with any project. How these problems are addressed and resolved is the important thing. Ofir always took responsibility for his work and found a satisfactory way to resolve these inevitable issues. Again, great customer service. In addition, all of Ofir?s subcontractors were as punctual as Ofir, had great attitudes and provided quality work. Upon the completion of our project, we were very satisfied with the service and the quality of the work. Future Home Builders helped us to create our vision and then made it happen at the level expected. We highly recommend Ofir and Future Home Builders. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

From start to finish the project was like clockwork. The submission of plans and acquisition of City approval were completed very timely and Job start commenced soon after. All work schedules were provided on the contractor web site calendar from the start of demo to final inspection and completed as scheduled. The contractor provided web site proved to be a valuable design tool as well as a communication tool for any questions or changes that occurred during the many phases of the project. Highly experienced foremen were present every day of the project to oversee construction and facilitate work progress. Great attention to detail and quality implemented throughout all phases. This is the way to go for any remodeling projects you may have.
Description of Work: First floor addition, Bedroom/bath remodeling per per plans and installation of composition roof shingles. First floor addition tasks included new foundation and framing, exterior stucco, installation of millgard low emissivity windows, installation of hardwood floor, painting walls and installation of electrical outlets. Bedroom/bath remodeling included demo of existing half bath, reframing walls to create larger bedroom per plan, installation of sliding closet doors, painting walls and ceiling, adding framing for 3/4 bath and installation of related plumbing, electrical, shower/floor tile and bathroom fixtures.

Ofir was incredible from start to finish, I highly recommend him. I had several contractors give me quotes, but he was an easy choice when he showed up with his laptop and gave me instant drawings, diagrams, and renderings, as well as exact prices. His quote was very slightly higher than some of the other contractors but I am glad I chose him, as he did not go a single dime over his estimated cost, even after a number of changes, setbacks, and additional requests. After hiring him, the plans were easily approved by the city but we had serious issues with the HOA, particularily with one neighbor who did not want any construction. Ofir worked with me for a FULL YEAR to get approval from the HOA, without me paying him one cent. He even went as far to get an artist to draw a beautiful painting of what the finished addition would look like, and finally after a year of bulls**t the HOA shot down the neighbor and granted approval for construction. He installed soundproofing (that I purchased) into the walls at no additional cost and was generally on hand to answer every question I had and he was happy to fulfill every little detail I requested, no matter how small. Stuff like putting a auto-sensor lightswitch in the closet and putting in a doorbell, etc. His foreman on-site was also great and the entire crew was very friendly and non-intrusive. They were happy to help me out with any other odd job I needed help with, even unrelated to the task. (I would buy them lunch some days to thank them.) They worked 8am-5pm 6 days a week and the entire structure went up start-to-finish in less than 2 1/2 months. In the end he matched the guest house perfectly to the house and it looks like it has always been here. I am very indebted to him, especially for the year he worked with me getting approval. I'd say he went WAY above and beyond what any given contractor would do.

After interviewing about four other contractors, we hired Future Home Builders (Ofir Grushkovski). We were very impressed with Ofir from the start. He was always on time, polite, very knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to work with our ideas or give alternatives as solutions to problems. He gave us great confidence from the start and offered us solutions that were within our budget. Once the work began, his various crews were always on time, careful, very professional, and skilled in their respective jobs: painting, electrical, cabinetry making, etc. The job was beautifully done, and was within the agreed budget and timeline (they actually finished a day early). We very highly recommend Future Home Builders, and will definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: We wanted to remodel a bedroom into an office. The job needed the removal of a closet and built-in desk, new dry wall with texture and paint, and the installation of new electrical outlets and recessed lights. We also wanted new fitted bookcases, cupboards, and a large fitted desk to maximize working area.

Excellent! Ofir and his team were professional and clean! More importantly, I realy feel like he made an effort to bring my vision to life. He always, throughout the entire process, kept in mind what I told him I wanted in that very first meeting. They listen to you and always make every effrot to deliver what you want. If I recall, they actually finished early!
Description of Work: After meeting with various home remodel companies that my husband was referred to from a neighborhood website, we smartly selected Future Home Builder. Furture Home Builders added on a masterbath to my home and in trun created a masterbedroom. The bathroom was ac omplet addition from scrath, the bedroom was remodled and included new windows, closet redesign, wiring, lighting, entryway to bathroom etc. From the first meeting on, Ofir was professional, considerate, creative and innovative. I appreciated that as the "woman" of the house he always wanted to include me in the conversation and would ask my husband to make sure I was goingt o be there during the dicussion/planning and even estimate stages. I was appalled that other contractors who came to do estimates didn't even look at me and talked entreily to my husband! Ofir made sure that both of our needs were met and asked us just as many questions as we asked him - what are our likes & dislikes, what do we envision, what's most important in this project, etc. The company surely delivered! The process was easy, all of his subcontrators were as professinal and timely... even the stores he sent us to to pick out tile or lighting were exceptional (and they all spoke highly of Ofir & Future Home Builders) My bedroom and bathroom are absolutely stunning. Both look like something out of a magazine. I can not speak highly enough abou this company!

I am extremely satisfied with their work. They know what they're doing, they have a great library of resources, and I would hire them again in a heart beat. They are organized, they work fast, clean/neat, professional, and with amazing attention to details. Their crews are friendly, easy to work with, and always on time. Ofir will not abandon you once you hire him, it's easy to get in touch with him, and he'll always check on the progress in a daily basis. I've introduced them to my family, and my family has hired them for various different projects in their houses. My sister in New Jersey is currently remodeling her house. She is encountering the typical problems like: the unpredictable time they show up to work on her house, or if they even show up; how long it's taking to finish up the various jobs/projects; the questionable quality of their work; how messy and their lack of attention to details; also, not to mention how much they're charging my sister. I found myself comparing my remodeling experiences vs. my sister's, and realized how spoiled I've become by the impeccable quality of the work that Future Home Builders did on my house. Overall, if you want a headache free remodeling/construction project for your house, I would definitely hire them. My only warning to anyone who wishes to hire them is that they stick to their schedule very closely, and most likely they will be ahead of schedule. So, make sure you can keep up with them, and have everything ready (i.e. things that you might be purchasing separately yourself like fixtures, appliances, etc).
Description of Work: I had a big list of remodeling jobs for my house. I actually talked to 12 other contractors, designers, and architects before deciding to hire Future Home Builders. I chose Ofir not because of his price, but it was because of his professionalism, organization, and attention to details. His price is not the cheapest and not the most expensive either. His price was actually quite competitive, about the mid-range average when compared to the various estimates that I received. Here is a list of the things that I had done to my house: Kitchen - expanding and remodeling the kitchen, Master Bathroom - remodeling and relocating the master bathroom, Master Bedroom - room addition, Guest Bathroom remodeling, Backyard Patio - pergola addition and resurfacing the patio to add drainage, Front yard - driveway expansion & Theater Room - remodeling the den to make it into a theater room.

Much to my surprise and elation, the project went smoothly from start to finish. I meet with Ofir, the president, for several hours when I was obtaining a bid. He brought his computer with him and was able to draw up a computerized 3D sketch of my vision for the backroom. This allowed him to give me a more accurate price quote and allowed me to visualize my thoughts. It was extremely helpful. Ofir did a great job of basing the sketch upon my suggestions and my budget considerations. When we decided to go with his company, he drew up a fairly detailed contract/list of the tasks he promised to perform. He also gave me some rough estimates on timing which he was pretty accurate about. The project grew as we got going, mainly based upon my desire to update some additional items (main electrical box, bedroom windows, etc). Ofir, as well as his foremen, Ofir and Kafir, were able to accommodate the changes without any delay. Each time a new set of tasks were requested by me, a change work order was provided and signed by me. These orders set forth the new tasks to be performed and the additional cost. This allowed me to stay within my budget and not be hit with hidden expenses at a later date. There were many tasks which Ofir and his men took care of at no additional charge too. It is clear to me that they are very concerned about customer satisfaction and will go the extra mile to ensure that the customer is happy. Ofir, as well as all of his staff, were extremely accessible to me. They would respond to my emails or telephone calls almost immediately. They always made me feel like my question or concern was important. I even called them one night around 8 p.m. because our hot water went out. Three workers showed up about a half hour later and worked until about 10:30 p.m. to ensure that we would have hot water for our morning showers. Everyone was always honest and above board with me. They presented me with all the options, gave me their opinion when I asked and allowed me to make the final decision. For example, they suggested that I have the house replumbed since our old pipes are galvanized and the new ones are copper. This is something that should be done but when I told them that we could not afford it right now, they did not push me on the matter. They simply explained the problems that could occur if not done and what I should be on the look out for. Also, when I needed subcontractors to handle separate tasks (i.e. building out a closet), they provided me with some names to contact and obtain estimates from. The office called me regularly to see if I was happy. They handled all meetings with the city and inspectors. I never had to be present for those meetings. Overall, I would strongly recommend this company. Their work is terrific. They are extremely professional, helpful, accessible and knowledgeable. One of the City Inspectors even made a similar comment to me at the end of the project.
Description of Work: Demolished the backroom (which was previously billed as a second family room) of our one story house and rebuilt the room into a master suite and bathroom. They rebuilt the frame, reworked the plumbing, laid the electrical lines, drywalled, tiled, painted and redug the drainage ditch which had to be moved since we enlarged the backroom by approximately 230 square feet.
