Description of Work: These guys were so fabulous, I wish all companies could be so great. My boyfriend had used them a few years back and I found them here on Angie's List too. My water heater finally gave way on a Sunday morning, the morning after a family wedding -- let's just say that dealing with water over most of the garage was not what we wanted to deal with that morning. I'm fairly handy and so is my boyfriend, but neither of us have replaced a water heater before. We called Water Heaters Only, and they sent someone over that Sunday afternoon. Chris was fabulous and was able to get the job done pretty quickly. He's friendly, knows his stuff, is easy to chat with, and was done in good time. It was such a relief to not only have the water heater fixed pronto, but with such calmness and ease - Chris and the other folks at Water Heaters Only really do know how to do what they do extraordinarily well. I wish I could have them train other companies in how to get the job done.

Description of Work: Installed a draft devertor

Description of Work: Replace a 75 gallon water heater. Alex removed and installed a new 75 gallon water tank. He had to remove a utility sink which was blocking access to the water tank. There was an extra charge which was reasonable. Everything went well. After the installation, Alex was patient with me and explained how to operate the new water heater, we then walked through the home to bleed out the dirty water and air from all of the faucets. Excellent job!

They installed a new water heater and hauled the old. |Worker was fast and efficient. He was friendly and professional, and arrived on time. I was very pleased with the service and would certainly use this company again and would recommend it to others.

Description of Work: We were able to get an appointment scheduled a few hours after we called. We had a new 40 gallon water heater installed on a Sunday. It went very well and installer was very professional and knowledgeable. He arrived well within the time frame. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I've used them numerous times over several years at one or another apartment building for jobs ranging from replacing a water heater thermocouple (about $150) to replacing 80-100 gallon commercial tanks. I was impressed by the thermocouple experience as they could just have easily sold me a new tank. That job was done within a few hours of my initial phone call and at the thoroughly acceptable price I mentioned.

Description of Work: Original service techs did not complete either diagnosis order or service order in accordance to either (1) service order, (2) instructed request. Issue was the repeat outage of thermocouple pilot over a period of four years - in order to mitigate future use/mitigation of manufacturer design flaws. Principal Yana spent over 1/2 hour today rectifying the oversights to satisfy initial inquiry - with due thanks and appreciation for service after the fact.

The only problem is that he didn't have the correct size I ordered and had to go all the way back to the office in Redwood city which took an additional 2 hours. Also, I thought the cost was quite high and they could have offered a more energy efficient water heater. Initial quote was lower...
