Description of Work: I needed a new water heater to replace a broken one for my 4 unit apartment building. I did not like working with them because I made a request that they obtain a building permit from the city which is required. They try to get out of it, and I am ready to pay more for them to secure the permits. I just remember thinking that I will not hire them again. If they obtain the required city permits that means I will get a city inspection which I am required to get by the city building code.

Description of Work: Replaced thermocouple (the part kit online is $59). I paid the $79 through Angieslist for the "deal". They charged me an additional $175 for the install, for total of $254. About a 30-40 minute job. $180/hr? Overpriced.

Description of Work: We returned home Sunday, Labor Day weekend, to find water draining from the side of the house into the side yard. It took us a minute to realize it was the water heater. Thank goodness we had a drip pan, which had been installed 12 years earlier by Water Heaters Only (we were surprised we were still in their data base even after so many years). They immediately responded to our call, and the technician, Geoff, arrived within an hour. He did a great job (working in a very confined space), replacing the water heater with a new, more efficient model. He hauled away the old one and totally cleaned up the work area. He also mounted the info paperwork & operating instructions on the side of the unit, making them easily accessible. On a helpful note, Geoff let us know that our water pressure measured higher than it should be, and recommended we have a plumber install a pressure regulating valve, which would reduce the pressure on our faucets. We appreciate his thoroughness, and are very grateful for the quick response to our emergency.

Description of Work: My electric water heater died a few months ago (the exact date is written on the water heater). Angie's list had a coupon; $300 off for $150 payment. I had used this business in the past and had been satisfied. I bought the coupon and was notified by email that I could call anytime 24/7 to set an appointment. I called around midnight, talked extensively to Josh(?) and made what I thought was a very precise order, 50 gal electric installed, $1,195 balance due, etc., with an installation appointment for the following afternoon (3:00/5:00 or 6, don't remember the exact window.) The following day I closed my office for a half-day to clean out utility room for the installer. The installer, Beni, showed up during the appointment window, BUT, did not bring a water heater. Said he was just checking on what I wanted/needed. Told him I needed what I had ordered. He agreed and offered to return the next day, which I could not do, so we set an appointment for the day after. Beni arrived for that appointment WITH a water heater and did what appears to be a very professional and competent job of installation, and cleaned up after himself nicely. Overall the experience was irritating with a satisfactory outcome. It was disappointing for such a highly rated Angie's list vendor. I would be willing to consider this company again but would certainly spend more time confirming the details.

Description of Work: Prompt and excellent service for replacement of an old water heater. Very good price, too! New appliance was installed by Steve Burlison, a genuinely kind and hard-working man. Thank you for the great job. I am so glad my water-heater worries are over.

Description of Work: Within 8-hours of my phone call, they were on their way with a replacement water heater after mine had failed. They had the unit I wanted (75-gallon), removed the old unit, and installed the new gas water heater. The installer (Alex) took the time to make sure I knew how to operate the unit, and briefed me on the annual (minor) maintenance recommended to keep the unit going for years to come. Very impressed with this company and would definitely recommend them.
