Water Heaters Only went above and beyond to make sue all codes were met with the installation. Garages have one code and family rooms have another. They actually made sure they met the codes of both because we didnt know what the inspectors would require. Even though they changed the price three times to upgrade the system from a 1950s code to a current one, I feel that their reasons were acceptable.

A next-day appointment was made. The technician (Chris) arrived, provided the quote, and stayed to complete the full project.

Worked performed on 02 march 2007. 21 year old town house. The technician arrived promptly and worked diligently. No problems during installation or during city inspection.

Our water heater started leaking so I called Water Heaters Only and they scheduled an appointment to replace it for that evening. They called later in the afternoon to say they wouldn't be able to come in the evening after all but could be there the next morning at 11. The installer came at the rescheduled time, made sure that all work was going to be up to our local building code, and installed everything quickly and efficiently. He explained the entire process to us and was very thorough in his work. Kevin did an excellent job.

Very helpful on all options for the upgrade during the estimate. Showed up as expected and completed on time.

Work appears to have been done properly -- clear and reasonable information on pricing when I spoke with them on the phone, and (contra to some plumbers selling water heaters) were able to tell me the model no. etc. of what they were selling immediately. They were $500 to $600 cheaper than other places in the Palo Alto, CA area. And when I decided, they came out that very afternoon!

Very happy with their work. Our water heater blew up, we called them, they came out that afternoon and performed the work - took away the old heater also. Would recommend their work.

We had to get a water heater pretty quickly, yet we are thorough researchers. We received three bids and Water Heaters Only was the most professional, quickest and close to the cheapest. We had a great experience. They even steered us away from a more expensive water heater, which probably was more than we needed (unlike other folks). We really felt like they were advocating for our best needs.

We called John when we discovered our water heater was working. He asked a few questions and was able to determine the age of our water heater and that it was probably leaking due to our water softener system. He had a crew out to our house within 1.5 hours after our call, and they replaced the heater and took away the old heater. The prompt service was extraordinary.

They can out to the house the day after I called them. They gave us a written quote, we agreed, and immediately began the work. They secured the water heater meeting all the new regulations and building codes. The worker was professional and did a very good job. They took care of all the permit issues for our city. All we had to do was call for an appointment to have the work inspected. The inspection passed with no issues.

On time for both estimate and work. Professional in all our dealings. Had a bit if difficulty getting the office to be responsive after the work to have a work issue addressed, but once I got to the right person they dealt with it immediately. Scavenged some materials from my garage for attaching the venting, I thought that was a bit unprofessional. Overall was pleased with their work. Their price was competitive.

THE WORKER ARRIVED ON TIME, GAVE ME A QUOTE & DESCRIBED THE WORK HE WOULD PERFORM. HE WAS EFFICIENT & WORKED WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. HE EXPLAINED THE DETAILS OF HIS INSTALLATION ONCE HED FINISHED.

We are not very happy. We do have some problems with the hot water heater. I dont know if its our fault or theirs. It is real loud, like a leaf blower. Weve tried to get them out here to fix it, but they wont come out. Its the motor thats real noisy.

CAME OUT WITHIN HOURS, LOCATED THE LEAK IMMEDIATELY AND REPAIRED THE LEAK WITHOUT HAVING TO ORDER PARTS OR REPLACE THE ENTIRE WATER HEATER. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

WATER HEATERS ONLY RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO OUR CALL, AND THE SERVICE REP WHO CAME TO OUR HOME CLEARLY EXPLAINED THE OPTIONS AND THEIR COSTS. THE HEATER WAS REPLACED SATISFACTORILY.

THEIR PRICES WERE COMPETITIVE AND THEY HAD THE FIRST AVAILABILITY TO COME OUT. HE INSTALLED THE NEW HEATER, BUT IT WAS FAULTY AND LEAKING, SO HE HAD TO INSTALL ANOTHER ONE, WHICH, FORTUNATELY HE HAD ON THE TRUCK. OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD JOB, DESPITE THE SNAG.
