Terry responded a week or so after my initial inquiry and we scheduled a time for him to come out to the house. He arrived on time and spent at least a half-hour with me looking at the property, assessing its needs, and discussing how we might proceed. He felt, as a start, we needed to largely re-engineer the irrigation system -- something I readily agreed with -- and accurately zeroed in on those aspects of the yard and garden (and its plantings) that had been neglected by our current landscaper. All in all, I was impressed. Where we left things: he was to return in a few days to more closely assess irrigation system needs and then follow-up with a plan and estimate for moving forward -- for irrigation, 1st-time clean-up, and ongoing maintenance. I was happy. And then? Nothing. No return to property. No contact. No reply to my inquiry to him about 10 days-2 weeks later. Just dropped it without so much as a quick text. My now jaded opinion of this type of interaction with a potential contractor after working with so many over the last few years? It's a contagion. So many of them do it. It's extraordinary only in its utter ordinariness. This is a rental house in Burlingame we go overboard to maintain in pristine condition. We'll find someone else, as we always do. Time wasted in this way is just part of the process.

One worker arrived in the morning and completed all required work including clean-up by early afternoon.

We had an initial design from another designer, and Terry collaborated very effectively with him to finalize a design that really works for us. Terry's work was good quality, he was on time, professional, and we felt very confident having his crew all over our property. He was responsive and delivered on budget. A couple of plants died in the months after the work was done, and Terry replaced them free of charge. Overall an outstanding experience. Would highly recommend.
