SGS Inc

We are currently in process. Larry Green the head of SGS inc. is just a great guy. Easy to talk to and calm but straight forward. The really incredible thing about this gentlemen, in addition to his skill and high standards, is he actually attempts to help you save money rather than constantly adding 20% and more to everything he buys for the client. He came highly recommended to me by a very precise, perfectionistic doctor friend so I gave him a try. He's really lived up to the recommendation and checks in with me and my architect regularly which is so surprising. He gives me the bids ahead of time for each task so we can discuss the cost and other alternatives. Frankly, I'm amazed and my architect thinks he's great too!!

During home purchase, cracks were found in the foundation. Several expert opinions as to repair options were submitted. The buyer found research from Saudi Arabia that pointed to a wet/dry cycle of the re-bar inside the foundation being the cause - and still ongoing. In collaboration with structural engineer, John Bradbury, SGS was able to cut-out the damaged areas, replace the damaged steel, and fabricate and install an access door thru the footing - taking the opportunity to make the home better while repairing the damage. SGS then coated the entire footing surface with the same moisture proof material tested by the Saudi government to prevent the wet/dry cycle, ending cause of the damage.

SGS IS ALWAYS A GREAT CONTRACTING OPERATION. THEY WORK FAST, BUT THEY ALSO PLAN CAREFULLY SO THEY DON'T MAKE MISTAKES. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT CRAFTSMEN AND DON'T CHARGE TOO MUCH.
