They did a great job. Made some suggestions for better tree health. Arrived when they said and left the yard cleaner than when they came.

A tall (40-50'), but relatively thin (3-4' in diameter) oak tree fell down onto my driveway. blocking the driveway. I used Angie's List and called a number of tree companies relatively early in the morning (8:30am). and quot;Mountain Manand quot; answered their phone and was the first to arrive at my house in about 45 minutes with all their equipment and a 4 man crew. They did a great job cutting up and removing the tree and gracefully cutting and lowering (with ropes) a very large broken-off branch hanging precipitously from one of my other oak trees. They were concerned and careful about not damaging my driveway and my cars which were trapped by the tree. They finished in about 2 hours, cleaned up everything as good as new and left me some good firewood. I thought the price was high, but I had no other quotes to compare it to and didn't bother to negootiate because I was a little desperate to get the tree taken care of. Overalll, they did a terrific job.

They weren't able to help but they were friendly and okay to deal with.

I called Mt. Man to come take out 3 oak trees. They were scheduled to come for an estimate on a Tues, but called on Mon to say that there was a problem and reschedule for Thurs. Mike came right on time, looked at the yard and trees and gave us a price on the spot. He called about 20 minutes after he left to confirm the date of the removal which was only 2 weeks later. Mike himself and a team of 8 guys showed up on time, negotiated our nightmare of a driveway with the chipper in tow and got right to work. The yard is very difficult as it's all terraced upward behind the house and the tree was almost at the highest point. Mike and one of the other employees got right up in the tree and started lowering branches down to the guys who were waiting. The branches were actually cut while they were still suspended by ropes and each guy picked one off and either took it down to the shredder or up to where the wood was to be stacked. All the work was done, stacked and cleaned up in less than 7 hours. They were incredibly professional, friendly and left my yard cleaner (no joke) than it was before they got there. Not a single plant was damaged and the one that had to be moved Mike actually dug up, found a pot and planted it in a safe place. Takes "above and beyond" to a whole new level.

Everything turned out well. They did have to reschedule three or four times, but they were very apologetic about it and eventually did get an appointment scheduled. Once they scheduled it correctly, they arrived on time. They charged exactly what they said they would, and their prices seemed competitive. I was happy with them and would certainly use them again the future.

He was good at responding to me about coming to do the job. When he did come on time he did a great job. The price was reasonable. They did a good job at cleaning up after themselves as well.

Kenny (foreman) came out in late August to give me a free estimate on pruning this tree and on removing a few other trees (as separate jobs, since only the pruning was urgent). After getting another quote from a different company that was going to charge more and be a few weeks delayed, we decided to go with Mountain Man Tree Service. Kenny was very responsive, both with the initial estimate and in following up for the scheduling of the actual work. He showed up with a 4-man crew to make sure everything was settled and understood. The crew was great; friendly and cooperative when I asked about certain branches that I felt needed to be cut back a little more. They did a great job of cleaning up before they left. I would definitely use Mountain Man Tree Service again, and will use them when we decide to go ahead and remove the trees that we got quotes for.

Kenny was knowledgeable, responsive, punctual, and courteous. He removed a large eucalyptus tree which was very close to an adjoining neighbor's driveway. He and his crew completed the job in a short amount of time and without any disturbance to the neighbor. He ground the stump and left the premises in perfect condition. There were a number of phone calls prior to the removal from the customer, and Kenny was always patient and addressed all questions and concerns. An excellent experience and job from start to finish.

Very good job. It was a huge tree! And they hauled everything away.

Chris gave us a free quote that did not change which was excellent compared to other quotes we received. They started on time and were very professional and efficient. They worked with the Bee guy to remove the hive without killing the bees. Their work was absolutely excellent and everyone was very polite and professional.
