Description of Work: The initial visit (12/30) was to look at repair of existing 24 yo furnace; the problem was isolated and I was given the choice of repairing unit or replacing it. After considering the pros and cons of each, I opted to replace and upgrade to a new furnace. This job was started and completed on Jan 22. I am very happy with the new unit and to have heat again. All four people I dealt with (Jay, Ralph, Luther and Daniel) were professional, friendly and helpful. I would definitely use Marcucci again should the need arise.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace. They did a good job once on site. Office staff got appointment mixed up and caused several days delay. My tenants had baby and it was important to replace furnace quickly. Company owner called me personally when he realized there was a problem and got the job rolling after that. He was very sincere about getting my tenants warm and me happy.

Description of Work: Our old furnace conked out during a cold spell and I have a young daughter at home. When I called and explained the situation, they were able to get someone out in a reasonable time frame (had electric heaters so we didn't need or push for same day service). The person who came to the home was on time if not a bit early; was very professional; and did a good job of explaining the situation and what was the problem. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Ralph, the man who came out to my house to give me the quote, was very thorough and obviously knowledgeable. As requested, he quoted me several different options for varying price point furnaces giving me several options to choose from. I had Marcucci install heating ducts for 10 vents under my house( because my old ducts had been removed due to asbestos) as well as a brand new furnace and thermostat. They were professional, courteous, friendly, experienced and made me feel confident that the job was being done correctly. The job took 1.5 days as promised. I even felt comfortable leaving while they were working on my house. Marcucci was a great choice.

 + -1 moreI finally selected the York Affinity 9.C furnace for my next furnace. I then called around to get several bids on this furnace and it's closest competitor from the Lennox furnace line. This is how I originally contacted R&R/Marcucci, to make a bid, as they were listed as a Lennox dealer. I met with Ralph for the bid. He was very experienced and knowledge. And he did not use the traditional "used car dealer" sales pitches I got from some of the other bidders. Ralph told me that given my interests he could be more competitive on his proposal bidding the York furnaces for the highest efficiency models. I told him I would like him the bid the York furnace. It is one two furnaces in our long and narrow house so he had to carefully check the coverage to bid the correct size furnace. He figured out how to route the exhaust lines and the drain pipe so as to do them nicely and unobtrusively. This bid was competitive, the furnace he proposed was the one I previously selected using Google data and his presentation was intelligent so I gave them the job. The installation was done by a two person team but mostly a nice and polite installer. The installation was carefully done and all the work was done in less than one day. The furnace worked from the first trial. Is is extremely quiet and so quiet it is different to even hear that it is operating.and the amazing optional Merv 10 air filter system I had installed with it should significantly reduce our house dust and pollen level by the reports I have read on the internet. I feel that I got a got deal price-wise on very good extremely energy efficient furnace and a high quality installation job provided by R&R/Marcucci. I could not be happier and hope so I decided to write this review to hopefully to help them grow their business.
Description of Work: I wanted to get an energy efficient furnace at a good price while qualifying for the government and PG&E rebates. I did extensive web research using Google. I even look up the recent patents of the major furnace makers on Google patents as well as looking at some governmental and industry test data of the AHRA. Once the research was done I got bids and selected R&R/Marcucci to install a York Affinity 9.C natural gas furnace.

They were very professional and punctual. They did a very good job and I was very happy with their quality of service. The price was comparatively reasonable.
