Did not use the service. Went with a company I used before.

Overall the service was great. I met with Henry as planned to review my plan. The job was a perfect fit for his team based on our discussion. I did run into some hiccups with the quotation where they didn't quite spell out everything I asked them to do but stated it rather more generically. It didn't really ever get fixed, but the work that was done was great. The two pear trees were thinned out a bit more than I had expected, but after speaking with Henry, he assured me that the trees were reshaped and thinned to provide longevity to the job as the trees will easily regrow their leaves. I was satisfied with the service and the price, and I'd happily bring back Henry, Kevin, and their team when it looks like it's time to clean things up again.

They are late for an estimate. They didn't even call to let me know that they were going to be late.

I emailed Johnson's Tree Service on August 10, via Angie's list messaging system, to try to schedule an appointment for that weekend to have them come and take a look at the four redwood trees we wanted removed. Not having heard back from them by August 13, I decided to email Henry using the email address listed on the company's website (I thought my message may not have reached him through Angie's list). It's now August 14 in the late evening and I have not heard back still. Since they haven't shown any interest in giving us a bid, I'm giving up. Disappointing experience, especially given the company had received such positive comments from previous customers.

We finally were able to get together after rescheduling our appointment. I will tell you that Henry and his group did a superb job overall as he was very accommodating to our various changes as well as understanding what we wanted versus the original estimate. There were plenty of crew available to do the job and they got right to it even on a Saturday morning which they showed up right on time! What we enjoyed the most was their flexibility and desire do the job right even going over trimming our Cypress trees to get the right angle after several tries.The cleanup was great and they even took some extra cuttings that we had from a previous clearing of our landscaping. Henry was in complete control of the crew and wanted to be sure that everything was communicated the way we wanted it done. After the job was completed, we were very happy with our view of the golfcourse that they created for us as well as the final bill for the entire job was well worth it. We will definitely use Johnson Tree Service again as we need a bigger view of the golf course now.

They have a good tree trimmer and his name is Alberto. We did not have a good experience with them last year. Their price was reasonable but they did not perform according to the contract. They did less with what they contracted for.

I was in contact with Kevin Johnson himself and he came out to do an estimate the same week. He provided his expertise on what can be trimmed and cut. He was open and flexible with price options depending on how much work I wanted done. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The actual work was scheduled a week later for a total of three days of work. A team of four workers showed up before 8:30 am followed by Kevin in the morning to make any further instructions. The workers were professional and worked long past 6:00 pm. They were able to finish the entire job in two days instead of three. Everything was cleaned up and returned to original state. I was very satisfied with the work.

When I called for an estimate, Henry was friendly, professional and efficient. He asked good questions and set up an appointment to give me an estimate. Kevin and Henry were right on time for the appointment. Both of them are personable and friendly and I felt comfortable with them. The estimate I got was higher than others, but the reason I went with Johnson's Tree service is because Kevin brought more to the table than the others who gave me bids. I had only asked for tree removal but Kevin said they could prune and clean up the remaining trees as part of the job. He also offered to dig up and remove some of the plants that I didn't want in the yard while he taking out the tree roots. His recommendations and suggestions were above and beyond my plans of the job, and would save me a lot of work further down the line. To me, the slightly higher fee was worth the service and expertise Kevin brought to the job. Kevin and crew arrived promptly and on schedule to remove the trees. His crew worked efficiently and quickly finished the job. I have no complaints about their work and am very pleased with them. Johnson's delivered everything that was written up in the bid and more. I'm very happy with them and would highly recommend them.

They arrived on time, were great to work with and are the best tree service we have used. Their pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely have them back again.

JTS' guys couldn't make the initial estimate date due to an emergency that another customer had experienced related to a fallen tree, however they were very apologetic and arrived promptly for the follow-up estimate appointment. We felt that JTS' bid of $1,600 for the work was very competitive and they agreed to reduce their bid by 10% or $160 using the Angie's List coupon. They arrived on time to conduct the removal and pruning and their work was outstanding. Their workers also happily agreed to remove a number of logs that had been stored under our deck by a previous owner and did so free of charge. I can't recommend Johnson's Tree Service highly enough and would certainly use them again in the future.

They were just excellent and the quality of service was very good. Their responsiveness was fast. They were pleasant, fast and were here when they said they would. They were just perfect.

Estimate time was scheduled and appointment was kept. We got a thorough explanation of what each of the trees needed. The estimate was given....minus 10% for Angie's List coupon. Work was started that afternoon and was completed before five o'clock.All debris was removed and the trees look wonderful!!!!

Did a fine job and even suggested additional trimming as a preventative measure. Very satisfied with the look of the tree and the efficacy of the job. Only one issue came up - they had told us one date over the phone and then didn't show up. Turns out they had either told us the wrong date or had it written down wrong on their schedule. They showed up promptly for the date they had us down for so it wasn't that big a deal for us. Mistakes happen - just ask my kids soccer team about the time I was snack mom!

I called Johnson's Tree Service to get an estimation. Henry came over and I was impressed with his presentation. Then, he told me that he would email me his quote. Two days went by and I didn't see any email. So, I called them up and left him a message (just in case he sent to the wrong email address.) Another two days went by. So, I called again and left another message. As you might expect, he never called me back or whatsoever. Then, I called him the 3rd time. This time Henry picked up the phone. When I asked him if he received my voice mail, he said no (It was his cell phone. so, I don't know how he did not receive my voice mail.) He then went on and said he would call me back in 10 mins. A day went by and he never called me back. It is their choice if they don't want to take the job. I respect their decision. But, not responding any voice mail and lied to you....it is very unprofessional. I don't know whether or not they would have done a good job. I highly doubt that they would keep whatever promises they gave you during their presentation. I would never use them in the future even if their bid was cheaper. P.S. Btw, his bid wasn't the cheapest. But, I was going to choose them based on his presentation and review from Angie's list.

The guy who came to give the quote was very nice. He quoted the job, but charged me more. The crew was not motivated. They didn't do the job right. I would not use them again.

Excellent work, fast, and clean. Kevin is great. Very responsive. I've lived in the neighborhood for years and have used other tree services that merely butchered the pines, in particular. They looked unsightly and unnatural. Kevin's team, however, made them look beautiful.

I called 3 companies from Angie's list to prune my Zelcova tree. Johnson's was one of the 3 and was also one of the two lowest estimates. Hank was professional, punctual and responsive. He arrived right on time. He listen to what I was asking and provided me with an emailed estimate. With Angie's 10% discount,the estimate was $360. It was difficult to choose between Johnson's and the other company, but because the other company's estimate was more detailed and provided additional services in which to chose, I chose the other company.

They did an excellent job. Very professional, with lots of care toward my plants and existing landscaping. Great clean up and follow through, as well as a very good price. Highly recommended!

Total experience from start to finish was excellent. I contacted Johnson's Tree Service in the morning to schedule an appointment for an estimate. They came out that afternoon and we discussed the work i wanted to have done. The estimate provided was great. I called the next day to schedule an appointment to have the work done. Kevin, Henry, and their team arrived the following morning at the time promised. The four trees that were taken out were cut down very quickly and neatly. The four trees that had the height reduced, thinned, and shaped are absolutely beautiful. Removal of all debris was also done quickly and very neatly. Not only was the work done well, but the whole team was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. Anyone considering having any type of tree service done would be doing themselves a dis-service if they did not contact Johnson's Tree Service. If you do, you won't be disappointed. Thank-you guys!

Trimmed, pruned, a large tree in our backyard. They also did two other jobs in the neighborhood, those jobs were equally done as well. Highly recommend this company! Thomas

The estimate was given promptly, and the project scheduled within a reasonable time. The project took almost two full days.

Their service was good. They had another crew doing the stump removal work and for the most part they did a good job as well. The stump removal crew had to maneuver a large machine through our yard and there was a bit of damage to our yard. Because of that I'd rate the stump removal crew as a B. They could have been more careful. The tree service is the first people I would recommend. They provided a good service at a little cheaper price than some of the others.

We were happy with them. They did a good job for us. We set up a long waiting time appointment and they gave us a good price but they were coming when they had time. They did a good job and we were pleased with what they did.

The day of service was great, they called to say when they would be coming and made sure that we would be home and that it was okay to come. They even trimmed a few branches off the front tree that hangs over the street because they felt they were a danger, at no additional charge!!! I would hire they again in a heartbeat, and they left the job site so clean, even blowing under where the truck was parked when it pulled away. Finally someone that knows what they are doing and saved me so much time and hassle. As a mom of 3, I don't want to waste my time or my money.
