Gil Sanchez

Description of Work: We have a large yard in Los Altos, California. We rent the home, and the landlord tasks us with the responsibility for minimally maintaining the yard. The yard is very challenging to maintain due to its size, unevenness and weediness (the grass gave away to various weeds and plants. The edges, which I could not get to with my lawn mower, had become very overgrown with ivy and various other weeds. I took a chance with Gil because I didn't have any references and was only learned of him by his business card which was left on my doorstep. But, I felt good about using him after I met him. He was very professional, and reasonable in his approach. I told him please do minimal pruning, whatever you need to make mowing easy, and basic tidying of the yard. There was also a pile of branches in the front yard from a bush i cut back to it's stump (not removable since it is up against a tree I was trying to save). He did a fantastic job of cutting the lawn short, trimming the edges, and minimal pruning as I requested, and hauling away the branches in the front yard.
