2 Technicians called in advance and arrived early. They tapped into the under-sink water sup-ply (not easy in my 60-year-old kitchen), drilled through the floor in two places and threaded copper pipe through a crawl space under the house. They were clean, friendly and efficient. A good job!

I have used them for a long time now. I really like them. They do good work. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.

They are the best plumber ever. They are wonderful. They finished in one day and it was marvelous. I've been using them for years. They haven't billed me yet. They always do a perfect job. I am very happy with their work. They responded within half an hour. They are very efficient. They send the exact plumber that I want. I recommend them to everybody and I use them all the time.

Phone contact was professional and courteous. The plumber arrived late but called in advance to let me know and I was not inconvenienced. He had all the parts in his truck and he worked efficiently, without disturbing the household. He cleaned up scrupulously. He politely answered my every question (I am an all-thumbs repairman). He volunteered a concession on the invoice for his late arrival, which I did not expect. His bill was HALF what another heavily-promoted local plumbing company charged for a similar repair on the kitchen faucet, which obviously did not last. I will definitely use Dale Plumbing again. This is my first use of Angie's List, which put me in touch with an excellent local service provider.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The rental home I occupy had root intrusion into the sewer line and the sewer line under the house was hanging at the wrong angle due to broken hangers. I called several firms and settled on Dale Plumbing. It pretty much went downhill from there. First they showed up to do the work and upon my verbal verification of the work to be done, they were not guaranteeing to replace all of the pipe from the house up to past the "break" - they were just going to replace the pipe to the sidewalk, which turned out "not" to be far enough to replace where the roots had broken through the original clay pipe. This stopped work for several days while they "re-bid" (higher) the work required. Next, they showed up with their "trench-less" equipment to replace the sewer line. Their use (miss-use) of this machine resulted in both the movement and breaking of a large section of the sidewalk next to the house where the sewer line clean out is, and the machine was only able to be used for a very short section of the 20+ feet of pipe to be replaced - the rest ended up being dug out by hand. They then requested the owner to pay more to do the work they contracted to do and to fix the sidewalk "they broke"! Although the work took several days longer than planned and the work passed inspection by the city inspection, the quality of the work seemed good, so I was mostly happy with respect to the "quality" of the sewer line work itself - THE PROBLEM, which still exists as I write this, is with getting Dale Plumbing to adequately repair the sidewalk they broke through the operation of their trench-less pipe machine and the NEGATIVE AND ANGRY ATTITUDE of their site supervisor. I would never use this firm again and would strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for your plumbing work.

I decided not to use them. They were very responsive and very knowledgeable. They definitely understood more about the project than I did. They were a good resource.

Everything went very smoothly. The men working kept a clean work area and were timely and polite. They took care of the permits and drawings required by our city. Casey in the front office was wonderful esp. when the city said a final inspection was not done....when it had been done,( I was home when they did it), and was requiring another one. Casey did all the calling and followup and was relentless in getting to the bottom of this. I didn't have to do a thing! she was wonderful. I would definitely use them again.

Went very well. Had to come back to fine tune faucet but did so at no charge.

Great experience. They made it easy from start to finish. They gave the best price of the many estimates we received, and dealt confidently with a difficult situation - we had roots that required snaking out the sewer every couple of months and trees over the sewer line that prevented trenching. Kasey was extremely responsive by e-mail and always kept me in the loop. I recommend them without hesitation for any kind of sewer work.

I called Dale Plumbing out of the online yellow pages. I checked first their reviews on Yahoo local and Yelp and then I looked around on their website. By and large they appeared to be a good choice for the plumbing service I needed at the time so I called their office at (650) 369-3253. I'm a little leery about plumbers in general because I've called out Roto-Rooter and Drain Doctor out before and they totally ripped me off. Anyway, I needed two things done and I wanted it all taken care of at once: our kitchen sink faucet was leaking from somewhere inside the spout which we could not really identify where from, and, our Insta-hot system was leaking from the tank portion itself, like a small but constant drip into the cabinet below so I was having to keep a towel down there to dry it up everyday. I called Dale Plumbing at 9:18AM on March 10 and they had a plumber out to me at 9:43AM! I was grateful for the responsiveness mostly because I had a conference call at 12PM and I told them about this to make it clear I wanted immediate service only. They obliged :) The plumber arrived promptly, checked the faucet and Insta-hot and told me it was no problem. He ended up taking the kitchen sink faucet apart and putting in some kind of little springs and rings then putting it back together and it worked great. Then he looked at the Insta-hot and told me there was nothing wrong with the tank itself (great because its only 7 months old!) and he ended up fixing the flexible pipe that goes up into the dispenser part. In total, he fxed everything in 50 minutes and left it completely clean and leak-free! In the past, I would have called Roto-rooter or some other type of company like that and I am SOOOO happy I chose Dale Plumbing. Surely Roto-rooter would have ended up charging me for a new faucet and probably a new tank for the hot water dispenser. Unreal! I'm happy to have finally found an honest plumber with clean work and a broad enough knowledge to take care of what I need when I need it.
