Requires constant renegotiating of your contact and constant rate increases. Very expensive if you just want internet. Maybe worth it if you want to pay $200 and have access to lots of channels but otherwise expensive internet and a very difficult company to deal with. Bills are confusing and very hard to interpret. I don't like their business practices so I'm switching to sonic. I'll give sonic a year and then write a review about it.

My experience with them was miserable. Their total disregard for the customer stood out to me. Their pricing was extremely high. I don't have a choice.

Terrible. Comcast servicemen are not trained and don't care about customers.
Description of Work: Cable on one tv didn't work. Set up an appt for 2-6 with Comcast. He arrived at 5:45 and said "here is your remote" I told him the tv was not receiving signals. He was p*****. He wanted to get home. He ran around the house disconnecting all my tv"s (which he never reconnected". Went outside to the main distribution box, broke the cover then announced it was not his problem and took off. I then went to direct tv and have been happy since. Comcast does not care about customer service .

The one thing I really like about Comast is the telephone technical support is really really good. They are knowledgeable and patient and will keep trying till they solve the problem, or research it and call you back. They will even help with configuring your own equipment to be compatible with theirs.
Description of Work: Comcast provides my home telephone, cable and internet service. In general the service is reliable and there are few problems. It costs more than I'd like but they have occasional deals (like Showtime for $2/month for 2 years) that help make it worthwhile.

We have been with Comcast since about 2000. We are happy with their service and we get what we need. We don’t have problems with their service. We have the internet and entertainment services so it is about $235.00 a month.

It's what they said it's going to be. Initially, they were a lot faster than the other provider. The speed is faster.

They are good. You can negotiate the price down. If you are retired and have no money. They are very good. They know their stuff. You always get irritated at them. People have different skills. I don't want to go with an outside antennae, so I will continue to use them.

Overall experience made me lose all respect for Comcast.
Description of Work: They do not take in consideration for those who are disabled and they don't care that you were in the hospital. I am at a very very fixed income and they do not want to help me with anything at all.

Sometimes it is hard to get through to customer service. Generally when we have a problem six hundred other people have a problem so that is not their fault. For a single issue I would say they are very responsive and they try to resolve the issue very quickly. I will continue to use their service.

I am not pleased with them as they are too expensive. The service is too wishy-washy from time to time. They have too many extra fees, and extra boxes that we have to buy. I am very close to cancelling their services.

It works most of the time but seems slow. I did a speed test and it was well below what I should be receiving based on what I am signed up for. If I have a chance to go to AT&T I will switch.

The price was too expensive. The speed of the internet was great. I didn't like how the rates changed. They knew that there was no other company that was offering high speed internet. It wasn't until I called to disconnect my service that they offered to lower or meet the price. I have asked in the past to lower the price and they would not.

I was having problems with the Internet. They sent out a repairman to fix the problem but I was surprised that I had to pay for the repair of the faulty equipment. They were helpful and they did the work quickly. My Internet connectivity is fine now, as well as my cable TV service.

I used to have Comcast, until another company offered significantly higher performance at a lower price. It was a quite acceptable experience with comcast. They had two tuners that were sometimes restrictive, when recording more than two programs at a time. After 5-10 hours of high definition recording, the hard drive would run out of memory on the DVR.

They have frequent outages with their Internet service. There are no rebates for how many times the Internet is down. They are not helpful at all. They had to keep coming back out to my house to work on it.
