We smelled gas after the install of a Samsung range. We contacted PG&E and they not only determined the range was installed improperly they issued a hazard notice! We contacted the RWC store and they couldn’t care less. We were told we had to get in-line for a replacement. One manage told me there was nothing he could do. Totally unacceptable considering the leak could have had dire consequences. We are now looking at all possible avenues in order to remedy this. A little compassion would have gone a long way.

The delivery was on schedule and the installation flawless. I'm a very satisfied customer.
Description of Work: They didn't have all models of the washer and dryer I was interested in, so salesman Joie spent time showing me looking up info and showing me pictures. I was able to make a decision from there.

The experience of buying a major appliance from Airport Home Appliance was utterly unsatisfactory and unprofessional. Their price was okay, and the refrigerator itself is great. They ( finally) delivered and satisfactorily installed the right refrigerator, and we like it. But with an emphasis on "finally." Our experience dealing with Airport Home Appliance was horrible. They seem to be clueless about how to deal with customers. For example: (1) We discussed with them that the price was to include de-installing and hauling away the old Sub-Zero. But the invoice/agreement was ambiguous about the hauling away. It took five emails to get this confirmed! (2) While they did not promise an exact delivery date, as the weeks went by, we did grow impatient, and wanted to know when it would arrive. They provided no progress reports, and when it finally landed in their warehouse, it took them another three days to let us know. (The installation took place a month after the purchase.) (3) When the delivery/installation people called the morning we had scheduled the delivery, etc., they told us their company did not de-install Sub-Zeros! This was after we'd already unloaded all of our food from our old refrigerator, and put it into cooler chests or a second fridge. In the end, after quite a number of calls, faxes, emails, everything was done that had to be done; the Sub-Zero was indeed de-installed and removed. But Airport Home Appliance succeeded in turning a routine sale into a remarkably irritating and aggravating experience. The form footer on their emails says, "Our Goal at Airport Home Appliance is to help relieve your stress when buying ...." Their behavior was exactly the opposite of their supposed Goal. Whatever the price, I would never do business with them again. We found them totally unresponsive, difficult to communicate with, and positively idiotic at customer relations.
Description of Work: We purchased a Jenn-Aire refrigerator-freezer from them, and had them deliver same and remove out existing Sub-Zero. The ratings above are for the quality of the company's services, not the quality etc. of the Jenn-Aire.

Description of Work: I saw an ad in the newspaper listing a kitchen range that I was interested in buying. The price was 50% off on a sale. The Ad stated Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. I went in on Friday to the Redwood City store whose address was listed in the ad. A salesman finally came to help me after I had been in the store for abaout 15 minutes. I told him that I wanted the GE double oven electric range as listed in their ad. He knew nothing about it, but went to find the AD. He came back and told me that the stove I wanted was only avliable in the warehouse in Hayward. I asked him if they could not ship it to me from the warehouse and he explained that I would have to go over there to pick it up. He explained that he had many other very nice ranges he could show me. I told him I was only interested in that one, but he could not show me any GE ranges because none are available in the store. Of course, all of the other ranges he offered to show me were much more expensive. I left the store thinking I would never go back. The next day, I went to Sears and bought a range.
