+ -1 moreSteve is great. My Relator said he is an ex building code inspector and he had an eye for detail that I would expect of someone in that field. He methodically went through the house, built in 1914, and felt it's bones leaving nothing unturned. His inspection took over six hours, and every minute of that time was well spent. All systems, appliances, walls, roofs, floors, rafters, foundations, stairs (inside and out) were checked, tested, measured, turned on and run. No place was left unseen. I was given an accurate evaluation of the house I was looking at to purchase with all it's warts and beauty exposed thanks to Steve's unrelenting eye. Do not hesitate to hire this man! It is time well spent. His experience is invaluable and his personality a delight.
Description of Work: The most complete home inspection before the purchase of a house I've ever seen. Steve spent over 6 hours scouring the house top to bottom. He let me know of any and all areas in the house that needed immediate attention, and also areas that would need future attention in up coming years. He gave me an accurate appraisal of what I would need to do to maintain the integrity of the house for future years. He took numerous pictures for the report and explained everything with patience, respect and details that put my mind at ease and made buying a home alone easier. I was sent 2 copies of his 68 page report within days of his inspection.
