Penna Electrical accomplished all the work over a less than two day period using a hard working 2 man crew. The team lead worked extremely expertly and quickly, with excellent support from the 2nd man. The first day they systematically made all the upgrades as they moved around the exterior of the building. The second day they worked the interior items, connecting all the exterior elements. The team was very hard working, experienced, and easy to work with. They understood the nuances of our installation and the best implementation pathways. They also arrived on-time, kept me informed as they worked and performed to the schedule and to the estimated. I would definitely use Penna Electrical again and request Jeremy & Felix for the work.

The guys that came out were very professional and workmanlike. I showed them what I had discussed w/Todd (there were some wrinkles that I'm not going to mention because it's just too much minutia, but suffice to say they accommodated all of it) and proceeded to do an amazing and very precise job. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Todd Penna came to my house and gave me a quote to replace my old electrical panel. I was so impressed by his professionalism and the detail in layman's terms of what the job entailed that I decided on the spot to hire his company to do the work. I did not bother getting other quotes and I was not disappointed. The two electricians, Jermin and Guillermo, completed the job in a timely and very professional manner on one of the hottest days of the year. I am a very happy camper.

We used Penna Electrical to extend an outlet, install a new overhead light, install a sump pump at the base of our driveway, and inspect our electrical panels. Initially there was some confusion as to when the work would be performed. I assumed they would do a price estimate and the work on the same day. Instead the price estimate would be given on one day and the work would be done on another day. Normally this would not be a big deal. The problem was we needed the sump pump installed due to a predicted rain storm. Without the pump the garage would possibly flood. Todd Penna came out to do the estimate and I explained to him my frustration. He did the price estimate for the work and tried installing the sump pump that day. This was unexpected and something he did not have to do. He worked on the sump pump for about an hour trying different solutions. We (Todd and I) decided the possible solutions we came up with were not the best solutions for various reasons. The best solution was to wait for one of his electricians to come out and take the time needed to install the sump pump the correct way. Todd also showed me the problems with our circuit breakers and explained why the new style circuit breakers were better. However, he explained, they did not need to be replaced but we should consider it in the future. A few days later, Todd?s electrician came out and did the work. At first I thought he did not extend the outlet because I did not see any dry wall dust or conduit. The electrician ran the line behind the wall and cleaned up the mess. I was very impressed with Todd and his electrician. Everyone I spoke to was very accommodating and returned calls/messages promptly. I communicated Penna Electric using e-mail, cell phone, and text messages. We will certainly use them again for some other planned electrical work and we will definitely recommend him to neighbors and friends.

On time, professional, fast, friendly and economical. They gave good suggestions and round down from the overall price. Pricing was ethical and reasonable. Sergio and Brandon completed the job of three outlets in about an hour or less.

Penna Electric provided top notch service at an incredibly reasonable price. Todd did the estimate - showed up on time and did a through inspection. He produced an estimate at the spot which was very helpful. Day of the job Sergio and his associate showed up on time (actually early) and installed four new LED recessed lights into my vaulted ceiling. They were pleasant and professional. They took extra care to clean up after the installation. Todd showed up during the job to make sure everything was going OK which was very professional. We were able to install three new additional lights even though we only originally requested two. Overall very happy with the work performed and would highly recommend. We'll definitely be calling Penna again when we replace some additional old lights.

What a nightmare. After several emails I was finally able to to get someone to give me an estimate for the job. During the walk there were no notes taken, just a lot of "got it", which is always concerning. When the workers arrived there was confusion on what the job entailed, they tried to install the wrong kind of lights (again, was very clear during the estimate walk of what was needed), then the wrong color of lights (again, this was just replacing existing fixtures), and then they left the job without completing the work. I ended up having to just cancel the job as this company is hte most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. Taking much longer to complete the work than estimated and then just abandoning a job for no reason. The best part? After providing such horrendous service and requiring me to hire another contractor to finish their work, they immediately start start hassling me about payment. Incredible. Strongly recommend to not use this company.

We had a few issues with flickering lights, (probably had more to do with our house's wiring than anything else) and the color of the LEDs- we wanted a warm yellow, rather than a florescent white. Todd stated several times that the job wasn't done until we were happy, and worked with us to get the exact lights, and the right dimmers. We are very satisfied with the completed job, and with Todd's care and attitude through what could have been a frustrating experience. His employees were trustworthy, and professional, and Vivian always called to remind us of appointments, or to give us notice if they were running late. We appreciate how respectful everyone is at Penna.

We contacted a number of electricians on your list to obtain quotes . We found Todd Penna and his office staff (Vivien) to be the most responsive to our needs. A very professional proposal and agreement were prepared in a timely manner. A date and time to start the work was agreed upon. Everything went well and we certainly would recommend Penna Electric to our friends and relatives. Jermin the lead staff electrician and his helper David arrived at our home at the designated time. They surveyed the job site and determined the best approach to completing the job and advised us the approximate time it would take to complete the work.( a day and a half) Once the job started they kept us informed as to the progress they were making. Upon completion of the work on the first day they cleaned up and advised what time they would return the next morning. The work was completed on schedule much to our satisfaction. The town inspector commented on the excellent job.

We had four companies give quotes on upgrading the electrical system of our 1950's home. Todd Penna seemed very attentive to detail, as we told him what we wanted, and gave us the lowest price.Tod sent two good workmen to do the job, checking in with them from time to time. There were a couple of miscommunications (as there were bound to be with any job with this many parts), but these minor problems were resolved amicably and easily. The workmen were friendly, cooperative and efficient. The whole job took about 2 1/4 workdays.

We re-wired our entire home and updated our electrical panel with Penna Electric. This is a BIG job and especially so because our house in on a concrete slab, so all the new wiring had to be strung through the attic and pulled down into the walls. Todd gave us a very fair price and kept us in the loop as the job progressed. He has a very knowledgeable and friendly team of electricians that work for him. They did a professional job, courtesy patched all the holes, and cleaned up after themselves. The job took a little longer than expected, but this was because Todd wanted things done properly...this even meant throwing in a few things for free that weren't part of the original quote. Highly recommend!

I found Penna Electric on Angie's list. New to the area and everything worked out fine. Spoke with Todd and we scheduled his guys to do the work. The work was done on time and as agreed. They fixed a variety of electrical issues in our newly purchased house. Todd was personable and very focused on customer service, which I greatly appreciate. There was one fixture that didn't work after the work was done, but Todd sent a guy back the next day to take care of it and make sure it was done properly. Again, great customer service!

Penna Electric was excellent. Two weeks before the date I wanted the service doen, Todd, the owner of Penna Electric came by and provided a full estimate, discussed options and issues and explained their business approach. None of the other electrical companies wanted to install the whole house wiring. Penna was willing to do both the power work and the security system wiring work. The day of the service they arrived on-time, had a strong two man crew (Ernie and David) on site, while the owner reserched the LED problem that was quickly focused on the type of dimmer switch controlling them. The crew time phased all three tasks very well, working very hard, well and fast. The plug was installed right where we needed it. The lighting wiring troubleshooting went quickly. The two placed the controllers for the security system where I wanted, worked the access to the lines, ran each line, security it as they went and drilled the access holes through the house exterior. The workers were able to finish all the work shortly after noon and cleaned up all the work sites. The Penna crew was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable of all aspects of their work, had great attitudes and did a great job. Penna's work was well worth the cost and moved three of my projects very close to completion. I would certainly use Penna Electric again.

Todd and his company were extremely professional, and had a very competitive price for my project. Todd was prompt in his quote to me, and very responsive to any questions I had (within 24 hours and normally sooner that that). His worker arrived at the time specified and started work immediately. It was necessary to run a conduit from one side of the house where the electrical panel is located, to the other side where the garage is located. Todd came out to assist with the installation of the conduit which was running on the exterior of the house. This was necessary in order to provide the clean power that I needed in my garage. The conduit was nicely installed and they did not leave any messes. They cleaned up everything outside and properly sealed the hole needed to go into the garage to bring the power line. The panel they installed was wall mounted, along with the outlets. Again, the panel was nicely mounted and all messes were cleaned up. I found only a few bits of wire cuttings that were easily vacuumed up. Todd was at our home for a good portion of the afternoon, and was very helpful in answering questions about my electrical needs. Overall, I was extremely happy with the work performed by his company, and when I have the need for electrical assistance again, he will definitely be one of the first companies I call upon.

After contacting the Penna call center I spoke to a lady and she was able to arrange for a home consultation on the same day (even though at first she said it would be another day, she put me on hold and arranged for Todd, the owner, to come by). I was told that he would be at my location between 1-2. Todd arrived at the time window as promised and we went over the whole house. Todd and I went over all the details of what I was looking to have done at my house and my back house. This project is quite big (I thought) and with what his website displayed it seemed that he and his crew would be able to handle it. After approximately 45 minutes of discussing all options (Todd was kind, patient, informative, thoughtful and professional), he asked for my cell and email for the quote information. I asked that once I get his quote and I compare the other quotes when could be begin on the project if I chose to go with his company. Todd said "as soon as next week! I was thinking ok, I have my work cut out for me..I need to get my other quotes together from other competitors to ensure that I am best prepared to make a good decision. After three days I was wondering what had happened as I didn't get a call or email. After the fourth day, I was checking in with Todd via email and told him that I was waiting for his call or email and that I was not pleased as I am waiting for him and he said he could start the next week! He called my cell and didn't leave a message. This was strange as I thought he would say to call him back or at least explain the delay. I left a message saying that I was shocked at the lack of communication and follow through and that he could at least check in. He finally emailed and stated that he was so busy( a good thing by the way) and overloaded with work that he hasn't had the time to provide me the quote. In the email he said to call him so that we can talk about the project. Ok, well if you're too busy ( again a good thing) wouldn't you at least tell your client that it will be a while to get a quote however I will contact you? Wouldn't be wise to not state that he could do the work the following week if he was too busy with other jobs? Well, I have called a couple times and it went to voicemail. At this point I gave up with Todd Penna and am moving on. At the end of the day, I may have or may not chosen Todd's Company to do the work but I didn't even have the chance. Oh, last thing...Todd said that he was glad to hear that I had no issues or concerns about is last two reviews of his services (as they were poor) and that I ended up going with him. I said I do not let a couple poor or low reviews make my decision. I also said that I run a business that is solely dependent on reviews and one or two poor reviews do not make the company and it's the whole picture and that we cannot make everyone pleased however we can try our best and ask for feedback. Well, Todd Penna, here is your feedback. I am happy that you're busy and do wish you success with your business.

Oren, the electrician that was sent by Penna Electric, was an extremely polite, efficient and knowledgeable service provider. He knew that the house had been freshly painted, and took exceptional care not to blemish the paint while he was working to install the motion light fixture at the side entrance and a replacement motion sensor on the front entrance. He was on-time, went right to work and was easy to work with and exceptionally courteous. Very nice young man. The job was completed in less than an hour. I felt the price was more than fair. Even though the job was small, I was treated with all the same courtesy of a major job. This is the second time I have used Penna and I would use them again and recommend their services to everyone. Because the job was small, they needed to schedule around another big job, but that was fine with me because I was in no real hurry for the work to be done. The job was scheduled 9 days from the date of my initial contact which was fine.

The service was good and I have no complaints.
