It's been too long for me to recall all of the details of the services or the exact cost, but I will never forget the customer service. This is how companies should be run. The office was fantastic. The handyman they sent out was fantastic. They were quite expensive, but I'm inclined to say they were worth it. They certainly went the extra mile to make working with them a positive experience.

Had to call him back for weather stripping and I had to reinstall one of the towel holders (kept falling off wall)

I did call him but the prices were too high. I called him last month. The price was too high. That was the only reason I did not hire them. Otherwise they were good.

Gary was my service technician and he was fantastic. He showed up on time and was completely professional. He took the time to explain everything to me as he was progressing as well as why some of my projects were too audacious to complete. Having never hired a handyman before, I was a little nervous, but I found the experience to be so pleasant that I have already started looking around my house for more projects that I have been meaning to tackle.

The quality of the work performed was good. I had some issues with the service initially, but vocalized my concerns and the owner of Mr Handyman SouthBay called me to resolve the issue and was very professional in how the handled the issue.

Handyman gave us a detailed quote right away for our kitchen repair from a water leak. We called them and they came out to assess details of what they needed to start work on Saturday and started work on Monday and were done on Thursday. They were here on time and ready to work from 8-4. The team of guys were very efficient and knew what they were doing. We have an old house and they needed to deal with large heavy cabinets. They helped us understand what was needed to upgrade our re-installation of our kitchen. After waiting for 1-1/2 months to get this done, we were thrilled. I would use them again.

When I spotted a rust colored stain emerging from a newly plastered wall near the corner of my shower stall, I feared the worst - was it a leak from pipes somewhere in the wall? Or was there a hole in the shower's grout that was causing it? I found Mr. Handyman on Angie's list and bought a "big deal" (four hours for the price of three, $365). While there were cheaper handyman listings, none of them included plumbing - and I wanted someone who could diagnose and fix the problem. I call Christie at Mr. Handyman Monday afternoon, she booked an appointment for me the next morning between 8:00 and 8:30. Gary arrived promptly at 7:59 am, and by 8:30 am had diagnosed the problem (the wire mesh in the wall plaster was slightly rusted and the new plaster had drawn the moisture out - making the watermark that I thought indicated a leak). Good news, there were no leaks anywhere, either from the tile grout or the pipes. Better news, I still had more than 3 hours of Handyman services to use up. It's amazing how many household repairs I'd put off dealing with. Gary started by replacing my broken garbage disposal (it also needed new wiring because the original was illegally wired). Then he replaced a window screen, replaced the rubber flapper in the toilet to stop it from running, fixed a closet drawer and repaired a broken hat stand. He was so knowledgeable and efficient and, well, HANDY, that he got through my entire to-do list all within the four hours provided in my big deal coupon. Overall, I had great experience with this company. I will definitely use them again.

The handyman they sent did a good job completing a number of small jobs. I did want some shelves made and wasn't prepared with the plywood. Don't assume the handyman will carry everyghing (e.g. plywood). Once I brought the supplies, he did a great job putting up some shelves. All in all, a good experience.

The handyman arrived on time, was pleasant and professional. He drilled into the door to install a deadbolt that we purchased and it looks great. He was quick and cleaned up afterwards. We had some time on the hour that we paid for so he attached some loose floor trim for us at no extra charge. We plan to use Mr. Handyman again.

I was given a 'float' appointment which means I had a larger window of time that they would fit me into, but it would cost me less if the work could be done in 1/2 hr. The office called when the handyman was about 20 minutes from my house, and he arrived as promised. He got right to work and finished the job within the time frame. He was professional, pleasant, and seemed to be very knowledgeable. This was a 'test' to see how comfortable I felt with this company. I will be starting my list of repairs that need to be done and will definitely be using them again in the future.

I contacted Mr. Handyman using contact number listed on Angie's List. The office returned my call promptly and followed-up with me several times until we were able to schedule the work at a time that fit my schedule. On the day of service the office called me to confirm the appointment arrival window and called again when the handyman was on his way to my house. The handyman arrived within the promised arrival window. He worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I was highly satisfied with the quality of work performed and impressed with the quick service. This was important especially since Mr. Handyman charges both a per-job fee, and a half-hourly rate. The Handyman seemed to fly through the job and did it very well.

Kitchen faucet was replaced. Job was done well and fairly quickly.

Gary showed up on time and completed all the work I needed done. He worked steadily with no supervision and kept me informed as he moved from task to task.

I had a situation where I had to get my locks replaced. The new locks did not match the holes in the door, so I contacted Handyman.com. Due to my schedule at the time, I was not flexible enough to be "on call", so I scheduled a morning appointment. When you schedule an appointment, you have to pay for a block of time. Once finished with the locks, there was still extra time left, so he patched up a hole in my wall where there was some water damage. I'm very pleased with the work and would definitely call them again.

They are very good about estimating costs and staying within estimate. The price depends on the job and it is reasonable.

Their scheduler was successfully persistent at arranging an appointment that fit our immediate needs despite their heavy workload. The Handyman arrived right on time and took care of all the work we had lined up within the contracted hours. His professionalism and positive personality were exemplary.
