Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for four hours of discounted handyman service.

Description of Work: The handyman hung a very heavy mirror for me, moved several heavy items from garage to upstairs, and also helped with a few small tasks. He was a good handyman - punctual, polite, quick, tidy, answered my many questions regarding other projects that I had planned, and asked for more to do when he finished each task. I would hire him again based on quality, but I wish they worked on weekends and did not have a minimum time/fee for scheduled appointments.

Description of Work: I called needing a flat screen TV mounted and they had someone in the area. The gentleman arrived and explained the service and cost which was identical to the estimate. I think it was $120 which I consider very fair to put the TV securely attached to the wall. He went to work and was done in 15 minutes with a great job. He asked if there was anything else I needed help with and then was gone. I wish I had not postponed checking Angies List! Thank you for providing this great service.

Description of Work: I originally posted a very negative review here, turns out I got my companies confused and they did not dispatch one of their handymen to call me back, the person who called me back was another number I had called. They were still very behind in calling me back at this office, but not their main office who responded to my form submission on their webpage very promptly. I wound up using someone else who had better credentials and a lower price and was very satisfied with my service.

Description of Work: I needed some studs replaced in my bathroom and a window removed. The wall is already open to the studs and the actual removal of the window probably won't take more than 1/2 an hour since the drywall and molding around the window is already gone. Granted I didn't tell the person answering the phone this but, after finding out how expensive they were and the fact that they wouldn't come out first to see what work actually needed to be done, I didn't bother. They have no idea how many studs need to be replaced. Could be 1 could be 10. I was told that, "it sounds like it will take more than a day." I was quoted $855 for just one day not including materials. I'm not going to agree to the estimate without them coming out and seeing the work involved first.

Description of Work: His employee, Leo, was contracted to perform basic handyman tasks (install plumbing, sink, patch, paint, lighting and electrical). He arrived promptly everyday, careful not to mark hardwood floors, cleaned up after every day's work and was very courteous. I would highly recommend him and will use him again when I need work done
