Majestec Premium Security Screens

Thrilled with service and product. I wanted to be able to open a downstairs' patio door and window to have air flow and yet feel safe, even sleeping with them open, but I didn't want ugly bars. After a lot of research, I went with Majestec's screens. Their service (returning calls, showing up to discuss, explanations of the product) was best from the two other companies I consulted. Price... they were the same as one and a tiny bit less than another. There is a wait for the product to be manufactured, but well worth it to me. Installation was smooth and fast. Jason and his assistant were very courteous. The product? Very nice - clean and simple looking. Locks seem as strong as as locks can get. I was afraid the screens would be too darkening, but truly, only if you're right on top of it do you see a difference from a regular screen. A foot or two away, and you can't tell the difference. The frames are a little larger than our windows, but aesthetically, still pleasing. I'll take these little differences for safer windows over bars any day.

We had Majestec install security screens at our home one month ago and couldn't be happier. Jeremy was our installer and, as other reviews state, he is fantastic and a skilled professional. We researched window-security options for nearly a year and realized there were many options and the project would be expensive. It was intimidating. However, once we settled on Majestec Premium Security Screens we were convinced we made the right choice. We liked the fact that they are a licensed contractor and a local business (Redondo Beach) that we could support. Communication was fantastic. We knew what to expect throughout the process beginning with our initial conversation with Beth. She stated that the technician who initially met with us and took measurements would also be the installer. That was reassuring. Everything we were told would happen, happened. Jeremy even ran into an issue on the morning of the installation; but contacted us to explain and gave an estimated time that he would arrive. He arrived when promised. Even with the slight delay, he finished the installation in only a few hours! We were very impressed. The screens are beautiful! They look like standard insect screens. My friends and neighbors had no idea they were security screens. They are definitely "invisible" when looking out; however offer privacy when looking in. Most are fixed screens. A few are escape screens that provide a fast and easy exit for our bedrooms in the event of an emergency; yet feel solid and secure when closed. We HIGHLY recommend Majestec Premium Security Screens. Honesty, integrity, great service and a fantastic 10-year warranty. We couldn't ask for more!

Majestec Premium Security Screens just finished my door installs. I got the front and back door done. Front door had a sidelight that I also had covered. I must say I am very impressed and glad I waited for these doors... they look AMAZING. They were custom made. I had the door handle moved up a bit higher so it wouldn't interfere with our front door hardware. Jeremy did a great job measuring everything, explaining how the doors work, how they are made and the possible options for the install. The worst part was waiting for the doors after we placed our order. The anticipation of getting a breeze through our house and being able to leave the doors open. It didn't help reading on Nextdoor how there were neighbors having their front doors kicked in when they weren't home. This made me really want to get these on quickly. These screens give me the peace of mind knowing my wife can open the door if someone knocks and not worry about someone rushing in. You could get the same peace of mind with those iron security doors from Home Depot, but those start to look bad after a couple years. These Majestec doors look clean. The install took about 4 hours for both doors. There was some build up of the existing front door that Jeremy did to make everything fit flush. It took three hours for the front door and sidelight, one hour for the back door. Jeremy cleaned up when done and it looked like no one was even there.

Both doors were done in one day. Jed was courteous, responsive and efficient. As others have noted these screens are night and day compared to the old school iron bar doors. They are light, strong and take up less space. Instead of looking like eyesores, they add to the house. You will never go back to those heavy iron bars and doors again.

Jed was super nice and very efficient. He measured every window and worked with me since I got 11 windows done. I actually first had 6 windows done on Sept 2014. Since I enjoyed the screens so much I got the remaining 5 done. I could not live with only having a few windows opened and a few not. The major advantages of having the screen windows are you can keep your windows open without the fear of anyone breaking in, the screens block out 60% of the sunlight and you get constant cool and fresh breeze. The fact that I have a peace of mind when I do leave the windows opened when I am at work is a major plus. I no longer have to worry about my kids accidentally throwing a baseball and breaking my windows. These screens are metal, not your usual screens that can be torn with a rock or knife. I would definitely recommend these windows and or doors to anyone who values their safety and home. Goodbye ugly bars on the windows, HELLO to the new technology of safety.

While there're many good things about Majestec's work, I would like to emphasize their responsiveness and quality of work. I had a good feeling from the very beginning when the installer Jed measured all the different size of the doors to 1/8 inch precision. After the screen doors were initially installed, I did not like the way how the frames were put in. The owner Jason came over and decided to redo the whole thing at no additional cost to me! I need to disclose that this is actually the first time that I've ever taken my time to write a review. Not only am I compelled to do so, but also other future customers deserve to be told the truth about Majestec's performance.
