In N Out Moving

These guys are total jerks. For starters, after describing in detail all the furniture and things we had, they showed up with a pick-up truck and a trailer. It was a long one but I immediately knew it would not fit all my furniture since we had two full bedrooms and an office, a playroom, patio furniture and more. They might be good for apartment moving but not for households of whole families. Here is a short list of all the 'issues' I have with them - 1) They move by the hour and seemed to drag everything out, in other words, they were slow. They sent three movers and one of them, the driver/team leader rarely left the truck. The other two movers were hard working, nice guys but were not that sure what to do. Therefore, it was super slow and costing me by the hour. I pitched in, as did two of my friends, but it still took 13 fricking hours to move! And the day before I had moved one medium U-Haul and 5 van/SUVs worth of boxes! Avoid these guys. Besides being below par movers the team leader grumbled about me to my wife, complained that he didn't want to be there, said a couple of times, "this is gonna give me a hernia!" to which I say, get out of the business!!! Do yourself a favor and get a flat rate mover. These hourly guys are prone to stalling and slowing down to extract more money.

The house I moved from and the townhouse I moved into had living spaces on the top floor, which they handled like a breeze. They were professional, courteous, creative (they had to use a pulley system to take the couch through the second floor balcony/patio to get it in my living room), hard-working and very cost effective. I called another company that was highly rated on Angie's and they changed their price quote on me (raising the price) after the initial bid and this was even after I changed locations from what would have been a 1 hour drive to a 2 minute drive. In N Out, on the other hand, responded promptly to my call, re-shuffled their crew to fit me in (since I called with only a few days notice), and had a very professional online reservation process that made me feel secure and "locked-in." I highly recommend their services! I definitely will use them again.

Heroes. Ya know that huge storm that just hit LA and knocked out power, took down trees, caused hundred of accidents and flooded half of LA? Well I moved in the middle of it. The guys from In N Out stayed positive throughout the day, even when they were being hailed on. They actually were fun to talk to when they werent running out into the rain with my stuff. It was a very fair price and they did a wonderful job, most of the stuff arrived dry, which is a miracle. Nothing was broken and only minor dings to doorways, but they immediately apologized for it. I hope I never move again, but if i do, it wont be in the pouring rain and it will be with In N Out Moving.
