It took over a week to finish the job, but it was worth it, because Gary did a very thorough and detailed job. A three to four man crew did most of the painting and Gary was there most of the time to make sure it was done correctly with a professional flare. Gary, also, helped pick the colors by making sure that it is what I wanted and that the colors would go together well. He put up several samples of Sherwin Williams Paint on the back wall for me to choose. Some scaffolding was needed to reach the metal chimney and one section of the house. His crew was careful while working on the property. I am pleased with the work performed, a job well done.

Gary and his crew did an excellent job, both with the touch-up and pressure washing project in 2011 and the original renovation in 2008. They stained all of the wood to furniture-quality and applied the historically appropriate colors that we'd selected to the walls and ceilings with care and according to the schedule. Their attention to detail was superb and any issues were quickly fixed with no argument or added cost. His estimates were highly professional with more detail than any I'd seen from other painting contractors. His prices are competitive, particularly considering the high degree of supervision Gary provides, the work guarantees that he stands by, and the level of quality that his team delivers. I have referred him to friends and would use him again for any painting projects that I have.

Liked the responsiveness, quote, communications, skills, observations, and clean-up. As often happens, other needs arose, and he provided great observations, quotes, etc., on that work, too. Very happy with Gary/GK Painting, and would not only recommend him, but would hire him again and again.

GK crew started the project a few days early as they were not quite so busy at that time of year. GK Paint decided to use scaffolding due to the large size of home. Scaffolding was not in estimate, but I was never asked for reimbursement, as scaffolding is the only part that GK contracted out. After pressure washing house, termite damage was more noticeable than ever. We were expecting a big add on to estimate, but GK said he knew it would show up at this point and already figured that in price. All wood work, fence work and even concrete work was done by the GK crew. Because of some rainy days, project was done 3 days late. But it looked great, GK even made a handmade wood sign with our address on it as a surprise. We've had neighbors that haven't talked to us in 10 years stop by and chat about how great the house looks. "Best looking house on the block." Their words not mine. 1 neighbor has already had his house done by GK since than.

The crew came early in the day and did a proper setup to protect and prep the home for painting. The cleaned up in the evening and made sure everything was in order.

9 years ago my wife and I purchased a 1935 Craftsman home that was in need of intensive care. We hired GK Painting to do the job. Gary Kassabian gave us a good price and helped us pick out the colors. We have used GK Painting several times over the years and have been very pleased with the quality of work. We highly recommend GK Painting.
