I left a voicemail message describing my place and received a call back that day from the owner, Mike. He gave me a rough breakdown of costs and scheduled a time to meet. He explained that he had an earlier appointment, so he would call if he was running a late. On the appointment day, Mike did end up running a little late, but he called me in advance and showed up promptly at the new time. Mike did a walk through with me and gave me a very reasonable quote. He and his assistant, Ken got right to work. It took them about an hour to finish. Afterwards, Mike gave me booties to wear (so I didn't mess up his nice clean carpet) and I was able to take a look at the place. The carpet was great, he was able to remove all of the stains that had accumulated over 4 years as a rental property. Since Mike goes out to all his jobs, he frequently is out of the office so you may have to leave a voicemail. The price and quality you get it is well worth the effort to play phone-tag if necessary. I can't recommend A-Plus Carpet Care enough!

They showed up right on time (I was impressed that the owner comes to every job personally), they worked furiously -- they treated that poor living room carpet three times! -- they were careful and thorough, and they were great, friendly guys. The carpets were very much improved afterwards. A perfect experience. Now I want them to do the carpets in my house.

The work was excellent. They arrived on time, were thorough and professional and completed the job in under 2 hours. The carpets were installed 3 years ago and have been cleaned by other vendors but no one has so effectively removed stains. I had expected to find that certain areas, including stairs, would require re-carpeting soon but Mike and his team returned them to virtually pristine condition. Excellent and will use A-plus regularly. The only caveat is that it takes a bit of work to connect by phone initially as the owner goes out on all jobs but it is worth the initial patience. Pricing was also extremely competitive with other vendors.

Mike and his assistant arrived on time and did a quick walk-through to provide the cost estimate. They hooked up his truck-mounted steamer and proceeded to spot treat some heavily stained and compacted areas in a section of old berber carpet as well as in the plush carpeted bedrooms. Both carpets were close to 20 years old and in good condition but had not been cleaned in years. No vacuuming other than the normal extraction of cleaning solution was done so I was glad I had thoroughly vacuumed the carpet the day before. They paid particular attention to the most stained and worn areas and did a very good job cleaning them up to the extent possible. The rest of the carpets looked much cleaner than before; I attribute this to the high temperature from the steaming equipment.. They took about an hour to do the entire house (which is vacant, so there was no furniture to move). The carpets took a full day (24 hrs) to dry due to the fact that the doors and windows were only fully opened for about 8 hrs immediately after they left. I was given the 10% Angie's list discount and feel his services were very fairly priced and performed expertly. I do recommend that carpets be vacuumed in advance as it will likely make the steam cleaning more effective and leave less residue in the carpet. Do not assume that because the carpet doesn't have visible dust that there is not any; I collected three canister loads of dust in a Dyson vacuum.

Quick and cheap but you get what you pay for. Mike and a helper came on time and finished in about 45 minutes. We had a lot of poor communication and ultimately they didn't meet my expectations. On the phone, Mike told me they would move some light furniture but Mike was mostly done before he told me he would charge me extra to move any furniture. After I complained, Mike cleaned under one dresser (it was empty but had a tv on top) for free but when I moved it later, the carpet was still badly stained. At the beginning, I told his helper I wanted all the floors in the closets cleaned and to let me know if anything needed to be moved out. Rather than following my directions or telling me they needed the floors completely bare, he ignored me and cleaned around things until I told him specifically to pick it up and move it. I'm talking about an empty plastic trash can or an empty laundry hamper. I was 8 months pregnant and wound up picking these things up to put them on a shelf and forcing him to go back and clean underneath it. They did a thorough job scrubbing the easy to get to areas (hallways, middle of the empty bedrooms) but there was still dust left in the corners, behind the bedroom doors and on the edges of the floors by the walls. They did the job they were asked to do but I didn't think they were very meticulous or careful about the things in my house. Their water-based solution took about two days to dry. I would have preferred to pay twice as much for a much more thorough and detailed job. In fact, I would up having to hire a second company (chem-dry in gardena) to come back and redo the spots they missed. Update: Just saw Mike's response. I agree w/Mike about the miscommunication. I would have been much happier had he told me upfront that no furniture would be moved and that the floors must be completely clear. I don't fault him for not cleaning under the dresser very well but I stand by my statements about not moving/cleaning under the empty hamper and trash basket.

This is the second time we have used A+ Carpet Care...he does such a great job, why go anywhere else?! Mike and his assistant arrived on time to our home on the day and time requested. They got right to work and finished in about an hour. The carpets look practically new, and the same can be said for our couch, chair, and ottoman. Mike is a pleasure to work with...he's very professional, pleasant, and wants to make sure we are happy with the job.

I have a small three bedroom house. I called Mike this morning and he came out the same day. He cleaned all three bedrooms (two are supper small) and two area rugs for 125.00. Really nice guy. He wants to do a good job for everyone he comes in contact with. My carpets and rugs look GREAT!

We called and made an appointment for the work. Michael came with an assistant exactly on time, hooked up their cleaning machine to our water line and cleaned the light colored carpet so that it looked like it did on the day it was installed. The price was fair and the work was done perfectly. The weather was slightly overcast and the carpet was 99% dry when they left. He gave us hospital booties to cover our shoes so that we could walk over the carpet immediately, and it dried completely in a few hours. We couldn't be happier.

Overall, they did a good job. They were able to fit me into their schedule within days of my call. They arrived on time, cleaned the carpets in three bedrooms, a hallway and the stairs in about an hour. Very efficient and professional. Would defintitely use them again.

The work was great and I have a lot of stairs and they cleaned them all nicely, not just in the center but the edges too.

My inquiry call was promptly returned and the appointment was made. Michael showed up on time and performed the work in a very professional and pleasant manner. They demonstrated care moving through the house with their equipment. They did an excellant job cleaning the carpet and it dried in about 5 hours. If you have carpet that needs cleaning I would highly recommend Michael. I will use them again

They do a good job. They are very responsive and have a fairly short booking period. They offer a very good price, probably the best I have had, I guess. The cleaning seems to be okay. It is pretty standard with steam and little spritz here and there. It's not like shampooing or anything. I don't have a lot of carpet. They didn't really do anything I didn't like. They were very careful. They didn't break anything or mess anything up.

They provide an excellent service. I will use them again.

Top-notch from start to finish. Mike was easy to get in touch with, returned calls promptly, and very obviously knew what he was doing. He actually arrived a little early -- but called to ask if that was okay. He did a walk-through to find out what I wanted and what he would need to bring upstairs, then went to work. He got out some dirt I didn't think he was going to be able to. Very personable guy, energetic, efficient, in and out in a little more than one hour.

I called A-Plus Carpet Care and left a message about what I needed to have done. Mike Bowman, the owner, called me back within hours. He gave me his rates and his availability. We set a date and two days before the appointment we decided to have almost twice as much area cleaned then we had planned for at the start. Mike said no problem and the same rates applied. On the scheduled date Mike himself and his helper arrived right on time and set to work immediately. Mike and I walked the areas to be cleaned and a price was established right then. Mike also took 10% off of the cost to me for using him through Angie's List. The entire process went quickly, professionally and within 3-5 hours, as Mike had said we could, we were able to walk on the carpet. We were very happy with the results.

He showed up on time, did a good job, and didn't charge too much. Also, I asked if it's worth having our couch cleaned as well, and he was honest enough to say that it wouldn't make much of a difference and that I should save my money.

He arrived promptly, discussed the work to be done, cleaned the carpet and finished in about an hour. One room had carpet with a lot of dirt and his equipment was able to extract the dirt so we didn't need to replace the carpet.

Pleasant experience from start to finish. He worked with our schedule, and was able to come out within a few days. He spot treated and then cleaned the entire carpet with his truck mounted system. He worked on several touble areas until they were clean. Fast! It only took about 45 minutes. He also gave us advice on how to better care for our carpet between deep cleanings. Will definitely hire again!

Mike and his helper arrived on time and immediately assessed the challenge that the job presented...namely water access for his trunk-mount and getting his equipment up to the second story. Both problems were solved quickly. Mike was in and out in little over an hour (including set-up and break-down) and did a great job. He was sensitive not to track water on the hardwood floor. I will definitely use A Plus again....they live up to their name!

Mike did a great job! He refused to leave until I was 100% satisfied. My wife used some laundry detergent to clean some spots (bad idea) and Mike removed all the residual detergent from the carpet at no extra charge. He also left an air blower behind to speed the drying process. He really knows his stuff.

I dealt with Michael directly (owner). He was very helpful and professional. He and his partner were prompt for their appointment and were very thorough. All dark stains came up and cat pee smell was nearly 100% eliminated. Left me with some cleaning product at no charge for future spot treatment of the carpet. Drying time was pretty close to his estimate. Gave me an Angie's List discount. Would definitely hire him again.

A very easy and quick experience. I called Michael on Monday and he had an opening the following day. He was right on time, and actually called to see if he could come earlier. I wasn't available earlier and he was perfectly fine with that, too. My carpet was very dirty, and he and his assistant did an excellent job! Although only my couch needed cleaning, they also brushed and freshened the love seat and ottoman as well. They are both very friendly and professional. Good experience, start to finish.
