Description of Work: I had my front yard redone and I was overall not too pleased in the long run. The irrigation lines were installed ok, but one section had too many heads put in and was setup weird. The sod that was chosen and put in didn't last too well. I had asked about one part being shady and some issues we had, and was told this blend could handle it. It got patchy pretty quick and never really bounced back right. The curbing that was put in looks good, happy with that. Finally, the original pathway stones we were promised never happened, and we got smaller, not properly installed pathway stones put in. Very unhappy with that portion of the work. Overall, I felt they were unprofessional and did not follow through. Beware, the owner likes to talk a good game, but what you actually get is different.

+ -1 moreOverall, he did a nice job as far as design and implementing. We've had compliments from neighbors on how pretty our yards look. Our biggest problem with him (and, part of it is our fault for letting it happen) is that we didn't get an itemized statement indicating the products that would be used and the dollar amount for each category. One of the products he used a lot of is mulch, which was installed all around the grass areas, flower beds. It was also put on a hill behind our home, which we were definitely overcharged for. This is the most disgusting mulch I've ever seen used around a home. Looked like something you'd see in a forest....large chunks of tree limbs, pieces of all sorts of debris, including iron springs. He admitted it was bad and had his guys try to clean it up somewhat, but it still looked terrible. He never offered to take it out and replace it with something more appropriate. We have no idea what this ugly mess cost us since we had no itemized bill. Our suggestion for anyone thinking about using Trimendous Treesis that they will be okay as long as they have an itemized statement with pricing, and know EXACTLY what products will be used, and that it's to their liking. We has put our COMPLETE trust in him, but, unfortunately, it didn't work out well for us.

Description of Work: Trimendous Trees & Landscape - Tree Service I used Trimendous Trees & Landscape, about a month ago, to remove a large pine tree that was messing up front of a rental home driveway. It cost $675 for the tree remove and $50 to remove the smaller pine trees that was around the large one.

+ -1 moreOverall, they are really good at what they do. I called three different tree service places and they were reasonable, easy to work with. Mike is a no nonsense owner/manager that takes care of his customer. He's fair and doesn't waste your time. He comes out on time for estimates and calls if there are any delays in getting to your residence. I appreciated that when he made our first appointment in 2009 and the Cajon pass had an accident that delayed his appointment.
Description of Work: They trimmed our two, large oak trees. stacked the leftover wood that they cut and for us to use as firewood, and put the rest of the smaller branches into the chipper. This was our second time using their service. We used them to remove an alder tree and trim our two other alder trees at our previous residence in Redlands in 2009 and they did a great job then. Today, the oak trees still look really good. It was so thick that wind was not able to pass through it before they trimmed them. They were able to thin it out from our side and even when part of the trees were on the neighbor's side they did not get any on his property. They cleaned up afterward as if they were never there. Even when one of their trucks leaked on our driveway. They came right out to clean it up with a pressure washer all the way from Hesperia to Yucaipa. They are very professional and I have them on speed dial on my cell. They do excellent work. I will be calling them in the future.
