replacement windows, doors
+ 0 moreI had work done on two separate homes. Both homes had all windows replaced with top of line Milgard, additionally all doors replaced, including double front doors. Security bars to all windows were removed and replaced over new windows. Both homes were financed through the HERO program in San Bernardino. Redlands Windows and Doors completed all paperwork and arranged for rebates. Excellent workmanship and true professionalism. Doug, owner personally supervised both jobs and provided professional guidance for doors and windows. As a retired school Principal, I respect quality of workmanship, ethics, and service after the sale. Redlands Window and Doors met all of my expectations and I highly recommend them for all window and door needs. They are the best and I will use them again for any new projects in the future.
Description of Work: Completely replaced all windows and doors of two homes. One home in San Bernardino, California and the other in Bloomington, California. Cost: $14,000 Bloomington, $8,000 San Bernardino. More doors replaced in one home.

Description of Work: We bought a new front door. I do not know much about whether the price is good or not. The first step was that an inspector/salesman came to see the old door. We decided a new one would be best, and he showed us one with leaded glass. He recommended a fiberglass door because it would get much direct sun. We agreed to that and the installation date was to be about three weeks. At that time, however, he called and said there was a delay because of late shipping, so we would have to wait three more weeks or choose a different door. We waited the additional time and now the door is installed and seems very good.

Description of Work: Used Redlands Door and Windows for several years. Doug came to the house on time and discussed our needs. After selecting the new doors, Doug provided the name of an individual who could paint or stain the new doors to our preference. The whole project consisted of a new pre-hung entry door and six new textured hollow core doors. With lead times and arranging the finishing, the entire project took one month.

+ 0 moreA representative came out and measured within a few days of calling. A quote was ready within hours and was VERY reasonable in dollar amount. Custom made windows were immediately ordered from Milgard factory and were ready to install within 5 weeks time. One very minor problem was corrected promptly and without fuss by the company (screw heads matching in color to the frame were not available on installation day but were quickly switched out for color coordinated screws in 3 days). Could not have been more pleased with every one in the company with whom I came in contact. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Replaced poor builder quality aluminum windows with Milgard insulated windows with sunscreen in a duplex condo in a golf course community Home Owner Assoc. where I had to match the previous architectural appearance. A total of 7 windows. One was a 7' tall picture window which was replaced with a 5' tall picture window and 2' slider on the bottom. Another was a wide window with sliders on either end and a fixed window in the center. Basically, every window was custom sized.

+ -1 moreEverything went really well. We were very pleased with everybody. The owner of the business, the guy hired to do the painting for the doors and the installers. We were pleased with the fact that they were a local business. That is one of our big things. We like to use local businesses. The service was very good and whenever we called we didn't have any problems with them coming out or talking to us or anything like that. They were very efficient and got things done in a timely manner. They were here when they said they were going to be. Their prices and quality were very good. We have used them in the past, that was a different name, but with the same owner.
Description of Work: We used REDLANDS DOOR & SUPPLIES for getting new doors for the front and back.

Description of Work: I had a break in and the robber broke my front door a few days before Christmas. I went to the big Hardware stores to look at doors but could get no help. They use independent contractors who were not working. I call the Redlands Doors and Supplies and Doug was at my house the same morning nailed closed my doorway and his "inside" man Larry guided me through picking out a new door. A few years later when I was in the market to get new windows they helped me again.
