Went without a hitch. Great match to older roof tiles, tile lines are straight, and didn't leave a mess. They knew what they were doing.
Description of Work: Install matching tile roof on a 10' by 12' addition to the house.

Description of Work: Reroofed front portion of my house. I had leaks around the chimney and at my entry porch. It turned out that the old tile roof didn't have any sheet metal in the valley, so the repair to the entry porch was complicated. |Glen Hoovey met the original schedule by bringing in additional labor on the second day. He was professional, honest, and reliable. My repaired tile roof looks great.

Glen runs what is basically a one-man operation, though he has helpers. Therefore, he can be hard to get out to your place. His bid was neither the highest nor the lowest, but he had a better allowance on replacing rooted fascia and shiplap under the eaves, which came in handy. Though he wasn't always here as early as he said he would be, the job was completed on time. He learned from a good roofer and doesn't cut corners: for example, he did the flashing around the chimney with these odd tabs (not anything you'd notice unless you were the homeowner). When I asked about it, he said that a lot of roofers wouldn't do it that way anymore, but the "new" way would sometimes leak and this "old" way would never leak. He primed and painted all the wood he installed and painted all of the metals parts that weren't dark brown to match and it all blends well. We have been though a couple of good rains with no leaks and the roof looks great. He also worked with me so I could install vent fans in my bathrooms while the roof was off, including helping me with one of the fans that was located in a tricky place. He's also a nice guy and gave me a tip on a great auto mechanic!
Description of Work: Stripped at least two layers of old roof down to lath, sheathed with plywood and re-roofed, including new valleys and dormer vents. Replaced rotted fascia and shiplap under eaves. Had new metal gutters installed by a subcontractor.
