Henry Plastering

Description of Work: We selected Henry Plastering to refinish the exterior of our home. Our home was built in 1970. The exterior finish was stucco with a very deep relief trowel pattern texture. I have not had the exterior refinished since I acquired the home in 1985. As it turns out, our home was probably painted prior to our purchase in 1985. Some of the stucco was peeling like paint not spalling off like stucco should. Andrew Henry visited our home and evaluated the work to be done. We agreed on a price, signed an agreement and work began. The Henry Plastering crew of four persons worked expeditiously to pressure wash our home, then scrape all loose stucco. They next applied a base coat layer of stucco to smooth the rough finish and fill cracks and holes in my exterior stucco. Next came the color coat. We chose a light brown color. When the crew began applying the color coat it looked extremely dark. We were assured that when the stucco cured, the color would be what we chose. As the stucco dried it did turn out to be the light brown we chose. After the color coat dried sufficiently, they applied a light coat from a spray hopper to obtain the final texture finish. The complete project was start to finish about 8 working days. The crew was friendly and social but very conscientious about attending to the project work. The crew cleaned up everything every afternoon. If my mother were still alive, I would have Andrew Henry and Henry Plastering refinish the exterior of her home.
