I have owned many homes and worked with many contractors and Rob of Sunrise roofing is one of the best I have worked with. He is honest, reliable, and good at what he does. When I asked for a quote to replace our roof he got back to me quickly with a clearly written statement of what they would do and for how much. Despite being in tremendous demand, he is very responsive to questions and very clear about their availability and the timing of when the work will be done. Most important to me, he does what he says he will do and when he says he will do it. In my case, I had to delay the work for a number of months and was pleasantly surprised that he was willing to honor his initial quote despite the delay and a significant increase in the demand for their services. I am also very grateful for the extra work they did repairing some problems that were found as part of an inspection. Many contractors would have used that work as an opportunity to increase their bid significantly but Rob and Sunrise did it as part of the job and refused to accept any additional payment; despite my offering to pay them extra multiple times. Finally, the roof looks great and I’m very happy I hired Rob and Sunrise roofing to do the job.

The crew were very punctual, courteous, and cleaned everything up . We were amazed at the amount of work done within 2 days . We would recommend Sunrise Roofing to anyone needing any roofing needs.

The guy that came out to do the estimate was very cordial, nice, and informative.

I took my dogs on a walk about 8:30am and arrived back at my home about 10 til 11am so that I would be ready for the man from Sunrise. When I arrived at my home, the man was climbing down his ladder. I put my dogs up and went outside to talk to him. He said that he had arrived earlier than expected and decided to go ahead and check out the roof for the estimate. I was not pleased with this because of liability reasons, and I wanted to check everything that he was telling me. We chatted about the status of my roof and discussed options, and he told me that his company only installs one type of roofing. Further, he told me that the mold that was on my existing roof would just be covered by the new shingles (which were stick-on, not nailed) and that it would die. He said that he had another appointment and he had to get on the road. He left me an estiamte with a lack of information on it, and was on his way. This man seemed untruthful to me and I am not interested in contracting with his company simply because of the way that he handled himself upon the estimate.

Job went very well from start to finish. Contractor gave estimate during initial visit and provided useful information on the regulatory inspection and approval process as well as details of the roof removal and replacement process. All scheduling estimates were achieved and workmanship of finished work was excellent. Jobsite was left in perfectly clean condition. I would definitely use Sunrise Roofing again and recommend them for anyone needing similar work.

They did everything that they promised. They cleaned up after they were finished. I cannot say enough about this company and would highly recommend them. The owner was even out to overlook the job.

On 9/8/11 called for an estimate on roof replacement. Two people came to the house the same day, took measurements, and presented an estimate for work to be done at a cost of $5860. The proposal was presented in a professional-looking folder that included shingle samples. They said it would probably be at least 3 weeks before work could begin. On Friday 10/7/11 the dumpster was delivered. On Tuesday, the 11th, at 7:30am two people came and started removal of old roofing materials. They installed the new felt underlayment and did a good job of cleaning up, then left for the day at 3pm. The new shingles were also delivered that same day. The next day they arrived at 7:30 am. Installed the new roofing, flashing, vents, etc. and were finished at about 4pm. They did a real good job of cleaning up. During installation, the two gable boards were found to be deteriorated. These were replaced with new primed boards and that brought the total cost to $5970.62. This was then $110 over the estimate but we thought this was reasonable. Overall we were impressed with their work ethic. They worked straight through both days. The quality of their work was excellent. We would definitely recommend this company.

Two man crew worked for 5 days... Were on time, seemed to be very efficent and did a good clean-up. I do not know if I will have any leaks untill it rains,but the verbal commitment to repair any leaks at any time was given. California law requires a 2 year warranty by a roofer or their license can be revoked. All consumers should be aware of that requirement.

Very personable and skilled men replaced my roof in a timely manner, paying attention to detail. Leaving the job site very neat and tidy...... for a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

Sunrise was one of the first companies to return a bid. I chose him because of the low price. The contractor is very young, but he is skilled. He is strong and has a great work ethic. He finished my entire job by himself in two days, and it looks great.
