+ -1 moreAbove is the story start to finish. The sad part is I'm out $1800.00 for a very poor job. I think the owner should have spent some time and point out what we should have expected from this process. My cupboards for their age were in very good shape except where the finish had been worn through in some areas.
Description of Work: The owner came out and spent maybe 15 minutes giving us a bid. He was in a hurry and said do you have any questions? My husband and I looked at each other dumbfounded and said, no I guess not. He gave us a date to do the work and was out the door. On the work date t.wo men came at 9 am and started removing the doors and hardware from the kitchen cupboards. They taped off around the area. One man stayed inside and worked on the drawers and kitchen. The other took all the cupboards doors out to the garage and worked on them. They etch the cupboards, spray on the stain and spray on the clean sealer. I told them they didn't have to put the cupboard doors back up, because I was going to clean and paint the hinges. So they were done by 1pm. Pretty good money for 4 hours of work. When I was putting the hardware and hinges back on the cupboard doors I notice the finish was rough, like sandpaper. But the drawers and the facings of the cupboards were nice and smooth. I was very dissappointed, Also you could still see imperfections under the finish. I called the next business day and talked to the owner and he said that all they needed to do was come and put another coat of sealer and they came and did that. But it didn't change anything. So I called the owner again and he was really reluctant to come to the house and l see the finished product. But, he finally did, but had his mind set that he wasn't going to do anything about it and he didn't.. He said what do you want for $1800.00.

Description of Work: We are very pleased with the vendor's performance. The job was to clean and re-surface the kitchen cabinetry. The results were excellent.

+ -1 moreI called NHance and they came out and gave me a bid. At this time they had samples and weere able to take pictures of my kitchen cabinets now and how they would look. This was very helpful. They were very prompt on the day they did the work.. they arrived at 8: 30 and were finished by 3. the workers were were polite, helpful and trustworthy. I felt comfortable leaving them alone inn mhy home to run errands. My cabinetsrand new. I am very satisfied.
Description of Work: I had cabinets that looked worn and dated. NHanced cleaned, sealed stained and resealed them. T they charged exactly the price they bid.he wood now looks about 2-3 shades darker and richer.

+ -1 moreI received a flyer in my Sunday paper and left a message requesting a home visit/quote to renovate my kitchen cabinets. The owner, Rick returned my call and came out to measure and provide an estimate. I wasn't sure what I wanted done to the cabinets, only that I needed some kind of change done to them. After speaking about the myriad of refinishing styles possible, I came up with a finish that worked and we set up a work appointment. When they arrived ( three young men) I'd decided on changing the overall look of the refinishing based on a table I'd refinished myself. We figured out how to get the same effect and they put their incredible skilled hands to work. Due to the painstaking nature of the shabby/chic look, it took them 1 1/2 days only to complete the job. My husband and I were overjoyed with the effect, they did such a good job that we realized we didn't really need to do a whole kitchen renovation, all we really needed was Nhance! There was no odor or mess whatsoever, and they cleaned up all the materials and tools and left the place spotless.
Description of Work: These guys are amazing. They took my kitchen cabinets from '80'sboring brown to stunning shabby/chic 2009.
