Description of Work: Swapped out copper lines for pex lines. They were quick and competent. My only regret is not getting an estimate before the they did the work. The cost was more than expected But still reasonable.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink faucet came off the counter top and could not be repaired. I was having company for Easter Sunday dinner! The Kohler faucet company was closed for the Easter weekend. Modern Plumbing came out early Saturday morning, determined the problem and promptly replaced it. He went to the hardware store and we talked over the phone as he looked at the potential replacement faucets and made a recommendation, brought it back to my house and installed it.

Description of Work: Modern Plumbing replaced my toilet and fixed the pipes under the sink in my bathroom. Not only were they on time for the first appointment, but he managed to be a day early for the second, and got it all fixed before Thanksgiving. He was incredibly knowledgable, polite, professional and quick. I couldn't believe how quickly he was able to find and fix the problems. He was also friendly, and I had no trouble asking questions and getting answers I could understand. I will definitely use this company again any time I have plumbing needs. I recommend Modern Plumbing without reservation.

 + -1 moreFrank showed up when promised and did a very professional job trouble shooting our problem. Turned out to be a failing pressure regulator (not a leak). He didn't have the part with him and volunteered to return at 6:00 AM the following morning (which he did). The job took less time than he estimated and he charged us less than his estimated price. I will absolutely us him again and recommend him highly.

Description of Work: Broken water heater - actually just thermocouple in an American Water Heater Company, a terrible company that uses difficult to obtain reverse thread on thermocouple, and has abysmal customer service. They diagnosed the problem, I dealt with American Water Heater and concluded Modern Plumbing was giving me true story and American Water Heater was shady outfit. Modern plumbing showed up on time, were professional and got job done. They came out promptly and fixed small leak in flex tubing that became apparent the next day. I was happy with their service

 + -1 moreModern Plumbing checked for a leak in my dishwasher. There was no leak found. We spoke about a problem with my kitchen faucet and found it would have to be replaced. As that was something my husband could do I didn't need to call them back. I will, however, be calling them to fix a leak in a shower in the second bath that has a cartridge. The gentleman was very professional and helpfull. I would recommend them to anyone.

 + -1 moreGoing through a toilet to clean out a main line is not an ideal or easy situation for any plumber. On the first two attempts the snake routed up through the main sewer vent on the roof. Frank persisted and on the third attempt, the snake routed towards the septic and the blockage was cleared. We really appreciate Frank's work ethic and his professionalism.
Description of Work: Called Frank at 10:20am and he showed up on time at 11:30am. We had a difficult plumbing blockage and Frank snaked it out and quickly solved the problem. We do not have a main clean-out valve so Frank had to remove the toilet to gain access to the lines. He also fixed a few additional issues at our request: new wax seal under the toilet, shop vacuumed out a shower drain, and evaluated/gave an estimate on a separate outdoor plumbing issue. Frank advised that we may want to add a main clean-out valve in the future. He gave us different options without pressuring us.

The technician had lots of good advice and performed our drain snake out in record time. A great price finished off the transaction. I would not hesitate to call again!

 + 0 moreVery well. We had some problems with getting an electrician out to us and so modern plumbing continued to follow up with us and made sure the work got done even though the electricians were contract guys and not modern plumbing employees.
Description of Work: Our water heater died. They came the same day we called even though we called in the after noon. The tech took the time to called the manufacturer and found that our water heater was still under warranty and was able to get us a free replacement. Our water heater is in an outside room and was never finished with sheet rock by the previous owner. The tech was able to and agreeable to finishing the room for a reasonable price. He also did some reconfiguring of the piping for the water heater. AND we needed a ground for the waterheater and he got estimates from an electrician for us. Really felt taken care of.
