Ron (Admin) worked with us to ensure we had a quality job on air sealing all vents, lights, pipes, ducts and skylight penetrations, that all ducts and skylight shafts were well wrapped with insulation batts, that all air intake and exhaust vents were baffled and/or surrounded by batts so they wouldn't be blocked by blown-in insulation. In addition, he worked with us to ensure all ducts and skylight shafts were well-wrapped with fiberglass batts before insulation was blown into attic. He also worked with us to ensure blown-in insulation would achieve at least R-38 rating needed for local city rebate. Larry did all the above work and he did it extremely well. We inspected attic after air-sealing was complete and found he had covered everything that came through the cieling throughout the entire attic. He also adequately prepped the intake and exhaust vents to avoid vent blockage. He also blew in the insulation to at least R-40 and then installed batted around the attic entry and insulated the attic cover. All in all the combination of their work resulted in an extremely well sealed and insulated attic. We have seen a 10-degree drop in house temp as a result of their work as our attic was not air sealed and only had the equivalent of about r-11 insulation before the above work was completed.
