We had drywall tap falling throughout our home, etc. Jon and his co worker worked on the interior of the house. They worked on the siding of the garage and replaced, including mail box, etc. The drywall work was tedious including caulking, etc. His price increased 5.00 more per hour this last year. Jon has another job he is obligated to and it strongly appears he is haggard when he comes and does extensive repairs for a paying customer. When you are tired, your quality of work drops. It's not too hard to figure that out but when you are paying 5K-6K within one year for contractor's services and the work is not done as it was first explained, you become a little disappointed....the customer is the boss, we are paying the money and people have a tendency to ignore what we want done and the provider does what they want. Especially paying for something again that should have been not included as a second charge like re-caulking the toilets. He does an exceptional job as long as he has time and he's not too tired and feels good for the day. Otherwise, you might as well begin to hunt for another handyman and it's hard to trust anyone these days! The contractors get paid well and we want quality work for the amount of money we are paying out while we work hard for what we have! I will still use Jon in the future but we are going to try other sources. Thank you.

Horst Handyman repaired a ramp that had wood rot along with wooden rails and reset the ramp so it was more solid in its foundation. He also repaired our back deck which had some wood that was in bad shape and repaired and replaced wood in our front steps. Horst Handyman used paint restore and he explained everything so we would understand all that was needed to complete the job. The material alone was 1200.00 so the material was not cheap as it is. We have to consider hours and time it takes to complete the task. Thank you.

Repair of kitchen faucet saved me over $80 (+ labor/install) to replace! John Horst was on time (actually able to show up early!) and educated me on how/why (new) faucet drips/leaks as he was doing repairs. His rate is $45/hr and only chartged me $25 total cost. I paid hime $35.00. Would use his services again as he can repair most things a specialest (i.e., plummber for replacing garbage disposal @ $120-180/hr!.).

He returned calls promptly, showed up when promised and did a very professional job.

His first name is Jon. His prices were definitely reasonable. He tries to accommodate the customers by having the set price for the amount of time he is going to do. If he goes over, he does not charge for anything over the estimate. He is very fair in his charges. Overall, he was excellent. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

It went all pretty well. He's very honest with limitations and how far he can do things for repairs,etc. and he has other professionals in whom he can refer and attempts not to refer anyone who takes advantage of people and who may provide sufficient services.

I called this handyman to replace the moulding around a bathroom door in my tenants house. I gave him my phone # and the tenants phone# and he never even bothered to call him or me for that matter. It's now been 3 weeks so I don't think he will. I think if he was too busy he should have said something and I wouldn't have waited on him. I would call this guy unreliable and not considerate at best. I can't review his work because he didn't do any. I will call another handyman.

Jon Horst saw a leak under our Modular home. He recommended American Leak Dectection and they did find a leak but are very expensive. After all the plumbing leak was repaired. Jon returned and repaired and fixed the insulation and did a great job repairing the belly that holds the insulation. He did not over charge and explains all he is doing. He did not chareg us for assessing floor damages nor crawling under our home during the first observation. We recommend him!!

I was very satisfied with all aspects of Mr. Horst's work. I got his card when I asked for a recommendation for a handyman from one of the workers at Ace Hardware. I called and left a message and Mr. Horst was very prompt with calling me back and was able to set up an within the week. He arrived on time, was very friendly and professional, and I thought extremely fair with his pricing. I will definitely be calling him again with whatever odd jobs that may come up around the house.
