GIBSON HEATING & AC

Description of Work: We were remodeling a home with no central air & with a propane wall heater. Ryan suggested a ductless option, and the price was right, so got the multiunit with 2 ceiling cassettes, and 2 wall units, with one outside condenser unit. Seers is 23.1. Just entering the hot weather stretch, so we will see how it functions then, but it has functioned fine with an occasional hot day, so far. With each unit, it only uses enough power as a night light, so we can leave them all on, all the time at the temperature we want, or can just use one or 2 units at a time. It is when the condenser turns on that it costs. Looking forward to the heat of the summer to do experiments with the cheapest method of running the system, but so far so good.

Description of Work: We’ve used Gibson. We have a rental and residential so we have them check both places. They did an annual check.

Description of Work: We have signed up for a three year contract to have them come out twice a year and check our a/c for a discounted price. We received a reminder call when our time was due and they came out when we set the appointment. Very friendly and professional. I also referred them to my employer when our a/c was not working in over 100* temperatures. They came out within 2 hours of our phone call and the unit was repaired. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.

Description of Work: Repair condenser on A/C. Performed task, repaired and it works!

Description of Work: Called Gibson's out to do maintenance and inspection of our heat/air unit. The tech replaced parts as needed.

Description of Work: Base bid was to replaced existing 3-ton split gas/electric System with new carrier 38TXA042 3.5-ton 14 seer with a 58DLX070-14 80% afue gas furnace. Work included new refrigerant lines, disconnect, thermostat, all related electrical, gas piping, venting, tax, labor and permits. Base bid was $4,880 with REW Rebate (3.5 x $250) $875. Provided and installed a 38TDB037 16 seer condensing unit with a 58CVX090-16 2-speed furnace in lieu of the 38 TXA/58LX. Total option was $6,578 with a REU rebate (3 x $375). or $1,125. Carrier offered a rebate of $1,000. We also carried an annual preventive maintenance contract with them to the current date in which they came at the beginning of the summer and again in the beginning of the winter. . Gibson has been great about filing for the REU rebates for us.

Description of Work: I called in response to a mailer to get annual HVAC tune up before the hot weather.
