First off the job took him 2 1/2 weeks when he said it would take no more than a week. He would only work 4-5 hours a day instead of a full work day. He wanted half the money before he started which we agreed on then two days later he wanted more money. He did not sand any of the mud work he just tried to cover it up with thicker texture. His texture matching ability is very poor quality. So we finally told him he had to get it done and he totally rushed on the last day and made a huge mess. He only taped off the windows and nothing else in our house so we had two days of cleanup. Would never ever hire Ed or recommend him. Professional con man

The owner of the company said he had 32 years of drywall experience and also said that the job would take approximately 9 days to complete in order to do the job properly. But in fact this company was on the job less than 12 hours over a three-day period. They hung drywall taped and applied joint compound and then textured before the joint compound was even dry. They did no sanding to make sure that the joints were flat. The owner, Ed Ferguson, approached me even before the job was complete for final payment of $2,600 and I told him that I would have to inspect the job in order to ascertain its completeness. Upon inspecting the job with my wife we decided that the job was horrible and we brought in a close friend general contractor to give us his opinion so we could make sure our observations were correct. The general contractor who has done many drywall jobs agreed with our conclusion and recommended a great drywall company - North Wind Drywall - who also agreed with our observations and charged us a very reasonable price to do the job correctly. They also said that Ferguson Drywall had given us a cost estimate ($5,200) that was more than twice what they would charge to do the job. My electrician who had done some preliminary work came back to finish up and I told him about my unsatisfactory drywall experience and before I could tell him who did the job he said "Was it Ferguson Drywall". When I said yes he said he was doing work for another customer who had just had the same unsatisfactory experience. I also asked Ed Ferguson about the senior discount that is indicated on his business card and he laughed at my suggestion. My mistake in this whole situation was to trust a good friends recommendation and not get multiple drywall company quotes but I would never use or recommend Ferguson Drywall. Horrible experience.

My home is over a 100 years old and I wanted to have some new ceilings put in. He really did an outstanding job. I was very happy with his service. He was on the spot and very thorough. He was very prompt and the outcome was outstanding. I also feel that he charged me a very fair price.
