They took care of a leaking roof. They had to do some dry wall, some repair and some painting and crown moulding. They were excellent. They were here for 4 days about two weeks ago. The price was reasonable and the insurance company paid the bill.

This isn't something that anyone talks about, so I hope in doing so, I can help others in a similar situation. When my grandfather passed away, it took a few days for his body to be discovered, because he moved to a very rural area. This means his body was breaking down, and you can't hire just anyone to clean up that kind of mess. The material a decomposing body leaves behind is a biohazard and can make people sick if not completely disposed of, plus, the average maid service is not equipped with the tools and products (not to mention the stomachs) necessary to handle such a thing. Cronic not only drove 2.5 hours from their Redding headquarters to help, but they did so at a reasonable cost, while always handling the situation with the sympathy, dignity and respect it deserves. My grandfather did not have homeowner's insurance, so cost was a big concern. I had to have some kind of ballpark to be sure I could actually pay the bill. Every other company I called refused to give even a rough quote over the phone, and because the location was so far away, said they would not drive out to give a quote. In other words, if I hired that company, I was going to pay whatever they said I should pay when they got there. But Cronic took what details I had, as well as my budget, into consideration and did their best to quote me over the phone. Ultimately, the property was in worse shape than we anticipated, and so the cost was correspondingly higher, but absolutely warranted. I had been warned by the Sheriff's office a lot of companies try to take advantage of people in situation's like this and to be wary, but Cronic is not one of them. They made what was (and still is) a horrifying ordeal just a little easier, and I recommend them to anyone unlucky enough to need them.

I had a leak from the baseboard when it rained. Robert Cronic of Cronic Disaster Services came out to find the problem. Even in pouring down rain. Jerry Carmony came out to fix the problems. He replaced the drywall, baseboard and painted both. He told me Megan from the office would call me to set up a day and time for the rug to be stretched. The room was perfectly done and Jerry left the room spotless. I have told a lot of people if they needed work to call Cronic Disaster Services. I am very happy with this company as well as the employees, and would definenty use them again..

They started July 2007 on remodeling the house it started off, from the beginning they would not listen to me and what I wanted done to my house. I Liked the original house structure and and that is how I wanted it remodeled, they wanted to do more crazy thing to the house, taking out ceilings, windows, and doors, to replace them however they see fit. I have had multiple people telling me that this company never was here working they were on other jobs or who knows where. They were in complete control of the remodeling, and I felt that they took advantage of me in my situation, they even came to me on the last day I lived in their rental and told me that there were tennants moving in within a couple hours and they needed me out now.
