+ -1 moreBen arrived on time and removed the existing tile in one day. He could have been more careful of our cabinets as he did not completely cover them during the process of tile removal. If you use him, please have him cover all cabinets with plastic sheeting. After careful templating, he returned to his shop to cut and polish the granite slabs that would become our new countertop. He then carefully installed the new countertop, taking care to match patterns across seams whenever possible. The seams were flawlessly executed. The installation of the granite was a monumental job, as slabs weighing in excess of 500 lbs. had to be carried up stairs, and positioned within a confined space. The travertine backsplash was beautifully executed, with great attention to detail and balanced placement of the tiles. Ben Arnold is a conscientious, reliable, and personable young man who takes pride in his work. I recommend him highly. (His prices are also very reasonable!)
Description of Work: Ben Arnold of Arnold Tile and Stone Works removed existing tile from kitchen countertop, then measured, cut, and installed granite slabs. This was a complicated job that involved installation of both a very large single slab, and a corner piece that required extensive pre-planning and perfect execution. Ben also installed a stone backsplash that incorporated framed art tile.
