Everything went really great. We were really pleased with the job done. He finished the project right on schedule. He spent a lot of time thinking about what has to be done. He was flexible and very timely. Their price was reasonable. We will use him again in the future.

We are extremely pleased with the finished job. It was done on time under poor weather conditions and everyone involved was obviously committed to doing a great job. We would highly recommend Ted to anyone needing any type of concrete work done.
Description of Work: We recently purchased property with a 30 x 40 metal shop on a perimeter foundation that had a dirt floor. We had Ted pour a concrete floor and it turned out great! He excavated the floor to grade and drilled the foundation for rebar. He removed the concrete below the roll-up door as it slanted into the shop and, as part of the job, formed and poured a new entrance that slopes out so when the rain hits the door and runs down, the water will flow away. Ted 's years of experience show in all the little details that he takes care of. Pouring at this time of year wasn't easy but he and his crew stepped right up and did a great job. It's also a great asset that he owns all his own equipment... excavator, concrete pump and everything else required.
The finished product is beautiful - even though it's just a big carport. Proof that it is not only beautiful but functional was when I hosed it all off for the first time.....no puddling or low spots. It drains off in the way he said it would. This is not the first job Ted has done for me. A few years earlier he poured a driveway, sidewalks and even my pool decking. It still looks great! He is my go-to guy for concrete! If you want a man who knows this business (35+ years experience) and who will be honest and straightforward with you about costs, what looks best, how to get the job done right, Ted is that guy. Concrete work is detail work. He doesn't settle for anything less than perfect in my opinion.
Description of Work: We have need for extra storage space and protection for our RV. I decided to go for the largest metal building I could afford. Problem was, it had to be built through an embankment of dirt which also held about four trees. In order to construct the metal building (approx. 20 feet wide by 50 feet long) the dirt had to be excavated and footings dug for two parallel block walls to hold back the dirt on either side. The building will be placed on top of the two parallel walls. Ted met me to look it over and immediately saw the big picture. We discussed the steps necessary to get the project underway. Of course, the County permits were applied for and eventually issued. Walls required engineering and substantial steel and footing dimensions. Ted recommended a skilled excavator who made short work of the cut through the embankment and footings. Next, the steel was placed and tied. Inspectors signed off on it and Ted scheduled a pour the next morning. The first course of 8" concrete block for the walls was "wet set" into the footings. Next day the first wall was up - 7 courses of block, 50 feet in length. Next day, the other side was done. Inspectors gave us the go-ahead for grouting of the wall so it was pumped solidly with Ted's equipment and crew. Next, he layed out the steel for the slab, it was inspected and it was poured and finished in the next two days. Looks terrific. Joints, finish, slope all perfect. Clean-up was done by his crew. They draped the entire wall on both sides with plastic to avoid any splatters. It is PERFECT!
Layout, set-up, poured and finished. It looks terrific. Price was very fair for high quality workmanship.
Description of Work: Ted advised and consulted with me on the construction of a 20 ft. by 50 ft. carport/RV storage building. His crews excavated and poured footings and slab for this building.
