I put the job out to bid with all the major Sacramento companies, Bell Brothers, Bonney, Clark, etc. Sierra Valley Mechanical did an amazing job for half the bid price of the others, and 1/4 of the bid price of Bell Brothers. I couldn't believe the others were going to charge me that much once I saw the bid from Sierra Valley Mechanical.

I don't review often but the team at Sierra Valley Mechanical really deserved a great review and hopefully it'll help someone else who is struggling to find the right HVAC company to work with. Luckily I was referred to Matt at Sierra Valley by another hvac professional who felt my job was too big for his company but knew the right team to connect new with. From the first conversation I was impressed with the transparency, professionalism and can do attitude Matt has. My job was complex and needed a lot of creative thinking . Matt's experience really helped figure out a good plan. He price compared different units/manufactures, factored in supply chain issues , and made some calls to make sure we got the best equipment at best price as fast as possible - he had all the parts within a week and saved me $in the process. Also importantly I wanted to take advantage of smud rebates and Matt really went above and beyond making sure I got ever rebate I was entitled too and handled everything needed to get rebates . This is something not all the have companies would do for me on my project. I had no headaches or worries and in the end got about 14k in rebates!!! And I was even more impressed with the execution of the installation . Sarah (amazing lead) , Eric, Jordan , and Bobby were a great crew who tackles the job with professionalism and hard work. It took 6 full days for my job and I feel they went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right /perfect . They always showed up as planned , stayed late to make sure there were no delays. My tenants really liked the crew and felt they were respectful/nice/clean . I cannot recommend this company high enough . If you have a complex or small job I know they'll come through for you too! I have a 1906 Victorian conversion to a fourplex special building in midtown that had window units and floor /wall furnaces which weren't very energy efficient and it was time to make the switch to modem split unit systems . I got a several quotes and was turned down by some companies as my job was too hard or complex . Others didn't want to handle the rebate hassles on a 4 unit building like mine . I almost gave up . So I am super happy I got connected with Matt and the sierra valley mechanical team. The rebates they got me made the job work financially for my rental building and much better for the environment . The new units are super quite and energy efficient . My tenants already love them. Handled a couple frost freeze nights without issues.

Excellent Company. Matt is one of the most knowledgeable HVAC people you will ever meet. With my conversations with him I decided to opt for a Heat Pump. The performance has been very satisfactory so far. With the rebates and going all electric and the expected savings on my energy bills it was a win/win/win. The installation on Feb. 21, 2022 went very smooth as I expected. The crew of Sara, Eric and Jordan were very professional, friendly and efficient. Couldn't of asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend giving SVM a call for your HVAC needs.

The work team, Sarah, Jordan and Eric were excellent! They were professional, highly skilled, affable and efficient. They left our house in spotless condition. They finished a difficult job in one day. We recommend this company to anyone.

Matt and his team were fabulous. We recommend them highly. We took five bids for our job. SVM was near the lowest, but it was clear they were the best. they gave us many options other than just replacement. Additionally, when a unit in our rental quit unexpectedly, they came out assessed the situation, gave us repair and replaced,ent options and were done with the replacement all within a week, 5 stars all around!

SVM did a great job and were the lowest bidder. I had 5 contractors come out and were others found problems SVM found solutions. They came when they said they would and did the job with dispatch. I would recommend them to anyone.

I want to thank Matt, Sara, Skyler and Jordan for an excellent installation job of my brand new A/C unit. They addressed and answered all my concerns/questions. They are very knowledgeable and very professional. I recommend you hire Sierra Valley Mechanical for your next A/C job.

I was able to conduct my home business without interruption. They guys vacuumed and left the house in better condition than when they arrived. Good work!

Fast and reasonable price

Project was replacing HVAC (furnace and AC) with a heatpump, including new duct work. Matt gave a great bid and explained every aspect of a large project. He really knows his business. After meeting with 6 installers, it was clear Sierra Valley Home Corp was my best choice. The installers, Michael, Bobby, Sara and Jordan, were very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up carefully every day. I have since signed a contract with them to install a rooftop solar electric system. Highly recommended.

Matt and the team did an awesome job on the HVAC install at the beginning of May. The team showed up promptly in the morning and were very professional. Matt was very responsive in answering any and all my questions on the estimate visit. And the estimate was the best in town! Rest assured all my friends will get a strong recommendation for Sierra Valley if and when they need HVAC work!

I have dealt with hundreds of contractors. As a retired architect I wish I had more dealings with contractors like this and people like Matt and David. Very professional. On time. Intelligent and responsive. Great work ethic and quality installation. Even during the bidding process they stood out as a company I would want to install a new HVAC system in my home. Considering my experience I believe they will continue to be very successful.

I got bids to replace my 35 year old failed split system attic/backyard air cond/ heat pump in sacramento . . Sierra Valley offered the best price & install quote . . including a thermostat that lets you also control with your smart phone, duct leak pressure tests & lots of other updating services, all included in the low quote price . . Made me happy compared to other hvac replacement prices charged by bonnie plumbing & other gougers who buy all the expensive advertising . . On install day the new replacement equipment arrived with a couple big company trucks and four cool people . . They attacked the job like brain surgeons . . Matt, Sara, Bobby & Michael un-wired old electric & piping to the backyard compressor . . removed the attic air handler furnace through the closet ceiling opening, prepped attic electric, ducting & new trays . . Tons of prep . . Installed the new units and connected dozens of things with great precision . . I watched everything . . Then powered up, tested refrigerant levels, air flow in each room, temperature performance & on and on . . These folks were super nice, explained a lot, great happy attitudes . . They vacuumed & cleaned afterwards . . Perfect service and I like the great price . . The long warranty is also good . . When I first interviewed the salesperson, he was no-bull & expertly knew the science of it all inside & out. . . He went into the attic, measured everywhere, figured out the best capacity & specs needed, checked the air intake area, sat down and computed the right system needs, explained how his new system is a great improvement to the old one and surprised me with a price that was lower than I expected . . That was my homeowner experience with Sierra Valley a few days ago . . I don't think anyone can beat their price and professionalism.

Sierra Valley's service was amazing! From the prompt return call from Matt Juvet and follow up from the business owner Mike Hlavay - I knew I was in good hands. Suzy Chaiodo was attentive in gathering my information, and the whole customer experience shined. Sierra Valley replaced my HVAC and the system is working wonderfully. Sarah, Bobby and Michael worked very hard on my installation and were knowledgeable and courteous. Michael custom built a base in my furnace closet to accommodate my new Electric unit. Sierra Valley is taking care of processing the $4000 SMUD rebate and applying to the cost of my upgrade. Mike you have a great team!

This business is top notch! From the first consultation visit to the final inspection, everything went perfectly. I received 4 bids of which 2 were nearly double what Sierra Valley quoted. I had them replace my entire HVAC system. They installed a 96% efficient system for less money than the others would install a 80% system. The work was performed perfectly. They did the paperwork perfectly for me to receive a $500 rebate from SMUD in just 9 days after installation. Even the Sacramento County building inspector complimented their work.

We recently had Sierra Valley completely replace our old HVAC system including new ductwork and boy are we glad we did. We chose them out of four bids because we got a better system at a lower price than the others. What a super job the crew did working tirelessly in over 100 degree heat to complete the install. Everyone we dealt with from Jim, the salesman and Suzy in the office to Michael, Jack, Jonathan and Sarah who did the work was pleasant, helpful and extremely professional. What a great feeling it is when you know you made the right decision picking a contractor that's honest, trustworthy and professional. Jim was nice to work with. The installers cleaned up beautifully after completing the installation.

Pre-install interview explained unit, installation and fine print. Everything went off like clockwork and all items discussed were completed and on schedule. Jim explained what to expect afterward as to post inspections and paper work. All very seamless and was a pleasure to do business with.

Good price, showed up on time. Installers were courteous and mostly knowledgeable.
