+ 0 moreIt is a new experience for us, because we have only done remodeling with independent contractors. They have some one to do the work, and we are just waiting for the stuff to arrive. We decided to go with them because they answered my phone call, and they were willing to schedule a meeting with me. I had called a bunch of people for the work, and nobody was willing to call us back. We are new in this area, and so we couldn't find anyone with recommendations. Initially the service was very good, and once they got the money from us, they started slowing down.
Description of Work: We use Lowes. They will be doing a kitchen remodel for us.

+ 0 morePurchased kitchen cabinets and contracted for installation services. Lowes sent two different unlicensed contractors to do the work. Both were very unprofessional and not capable of completing the work. Lowes store management took no responsibility for the contractors failure to perform. After six weeks of time wasted with incompetent contractors and a store management who could care less, I then wrote a letter to the regional district manager and copied the Corporate CEO and all six members of the Board of Directors. Within days after receiving the letter, Lowes had a professional contractor come in and complete the job. In the end they completed the work and it looks great but it took over six weeks to complete.
