BOB'S HANDYMAN & REPAIR

Description of Work: We hired Bob to help us with a bath remodel and crown moulding in a spare room. He was prompt, clean, knowledgable and funny. I originally hired him to take some of the home improvement burden off my husband, but they ended up working together and becoming BFF's. We're happy with the work Bob has done for us, but even happier that my husband earned an education on tiling, etc.

Description of Work: My old handyman of 20 years got the point where his client list filled up and he either turned work away or charged too much for what he did. So, I went to Angie's List. I asked Bob to the house for an estimate based on his reviews. He was prompt, courteous, professional and the estimate was reasonable. I had a long punch list that he was eager to attack. He unclogged a drain; replaced a kitchen faucett spray fitting; removed and replaced a cracked porcelin bathroom sink; fixed a leaking toilet; repaired dry rot at the base of my patio support posts and front window box; fixed the exterior side yard gate that was dragging on the pavers; fixed the side garage door that dragged the threshhold; repaired a door casing in a bedroom; adjusted double closet door fasteners that were preventing the doors from closing in another bedroom; made an extra shelf for the garage cabinets; and wrapped exposed ducting insulation with a new aluminum type foil. He and his assistant took on and completed each task with excellent results. He selected top grade repair materials that would ensure the repairs would be long lasting and not just temporary. I could not be more satisfied. I absolutely will use Bob again and have already recommended him to friends and neighbors. Results like this is why I am a member of Angie's List. THANK YOU, BOB!!

Description of Work: Bob and his helper were great. They not only did what I asked but they found a problem with an outside socket I didn't know about and fixed it. They worked quickly, efficiently and I felt that I received good value for the money. I plan to have them do more projects for me.

Description of Work: I wanted to add a feedback report on Bob's Handyman and Repair's services, which I contacted and hired thanks to your listing. It was an A in Overall Experience, Price, Responsiveness, Promptness, Professionalism. I hired him to replace the hardware on the front-door of our son's house and replacing the side garage door at the same address. He purchased the materials (for which I reimbursed him) and completed the job in 3.5 hours. My son has invited him back to repair the backyard fence. We'll be calling him again because at my age I need a good, positive, and helpful handyman.
